Quick is not washed up. He is still one of the top goalies in the NHL. I really don’t feel his athleticism has declined much. He looks like he still moves in the net as good as anyone.
He is definitely not a top goalie in the league. He had a good night, but makes me nervous. He had the third worst SV% and 11th worst GAA in the league last year. We’ll have to play good defense in front of him like last night.
I think they just need to feel trusted to carry top six positions. Now that our veterans are getting up there in age it won’t be long until they’ll have to drop back to the third line to let the kids take over full time.

Hall of famer Johnathan Quick is a great addition to the NYR's he's great impact player for the team and most of all playing in tandem in goal with Igor Shesterkin will be a huge benefit for # 31 🏒🏒.
