The app is fantastic and the feature is great. However the camera breaks just after a year. Customer service kinda blamed me for misuse and since its out of warranty so they asks me to buy a new one or send mine to repair for an even higher cost lol. So unless you have the money to buy a new one every year, try another brand. In comparison, my outdoor security camera is 3 years old and it is still working fine. 1/4 of the cost of Cubo Ai lol.

Yeah thats my experience with this product as well. Not built for longevity, and constant connection issues. One of the reasons I did this review. Seemed to be no realistic ones on TH-cam.

Same thing happened to me.. only lasted a year and they said I should ship it to Taiwan for repairs and wait 45 days.. it could cost 45-100 dollars... Such bs

Important to note you are reviewing the old model, in 2024 there is the Cubo AI Plus which is on a completely different playing field.

My cubo ai plus has just shat itself, it wont turn on/connect, i cant reset it, ive tried unplugging from the wall. Ive contacted the company to see what they can do but its frustrating when you pay a lot of money for a monitor you expect to last for years and years and it just doesnt. I agree with the constant notifications with the rollover, my daughter would wiggle slightly and it would go of 😂

Exactly! Mine never completely stopped working but constant issues with staying connected. For the price point it should last for a long time and be much more accurate. We switched monitors because of the issues with the Cubo.

Same experience for me, always needs to be manually connected after it drops the signal.

Might want to double check your router and wifi connection

Switch to the Nanit Pro which we absolutely love!

I set one up yesterday, some clever stuff on there but for me it’s unfortunately not fit for purpose, it has 1 vital floor in its software, the alarm only sounds once and it’s a 2 second bird chirp, if a baby stops breathing the only alert you get is a 2 second chirp, I know the sounds can be changed but still it’s a one time alarm, surely something as vital as detecting a baby not breathing the alarm should be continuous until the alarm is acknowledged, there is 99% chance that if you are asleep and a baby stops breathing the one time little chirp is not going to wake you, waking up a few hours later to a notification on your phone saying no breathing detected because you missed the one and only alarm it sends just baffles me, unfortunately in most cases it’s likely to be to late, I really want to like this but I just can’t

Yeah I agree, the alerts should be more customizable. My second biggest flaw with the product. It’s very hard to trust this product at times.
