I do this same method with human hair on the ends and no braiding hair, but chunky braids or twists to save time. Love it!

Boneless braids are my style too. This is over of the best videos I’ve seen with the french curl. The others are too thick at the ends. Well done ❤

Why did you choose this method? Will the braids last if you’re using your natural hair majority of the way?? I always thought extensions lasted longer once your braids get old. Less frizz that way

I chose this method because it’s more comfortable. There is less weight on my head and it doesn’t feel like my hair is being ripped from my scalp whenever I style it. I kept this hairstyle in for just over three weeks and my braids still looked really good. Using synthetic hair will definitely keep your braids looking neater because you’re tucking your hair into the extensions but for me I don’t really care too much about frizz so this method works!

I kept the braids in for over three weeks. I definitely could’ve kept it in longer.

Thanks @elsadesiree ! It was a beautiful style. I'm looking for something low maintenance that will last at least 3 weeks and still look good for a trip out of the country. I also need to be able to wash it, and use minimum products (shampoo, condioner, & oil). Is there any reason you only added the hair at the ends? I wonder if my hair will start to look stringy or frizzy. I have relaxed hair. Do you have follow up videos of this style?🤔

Do you knot the ends or leave them open?

I don’t knot the ends. I just keep braiding down and I try to make the end as skinny as I can so it doesn’t unravel as easy. It does unravel a little bit, but not enough to where the extensions are falling out so you just have to make sure you braid far enough.

So I did this, so I cut my hair in error because I couldn’t differentiate the human hair from mine ..

seriously how did you learn how to braid your hair? like you do every style yourself 😭

I used to watch my sisters braid all the time. And then when I got to the age where my sisters no longer wanted to do my hair anymore or were too busy. I just had to learn how to do it myself. watching TH-cam tutorials really help me out.
