I'm not an American, but I sure as hell would like to see America function and be better than the mess it was yesterday. I am an American and right about now I wish I weren't. I have lived 73 years and I have never even in the worst times ever seen my country so corrupt and giving proof to the world that we do not educate our children properly. This country wants everything and gives nothing back. I lived in France for two years and in Algeria for one year and that being just a few years after the revolution and I can say that both of these countries were far more gentil and far more caring about their people than this country has ever been. But still I grew from the Earth in this country and it will always be mine and I hope against hope that soon we will once again be a sensible country and that the rest of the world will look again at us with favor.

Behind the scenes I am guessing they come forward and say "We should really have made a bigger push for more gerrymandering so that our unpopular minority would have still won more seats in the House and maybe we could have closed more polling places in the metropolitan areas which would have suppressed more votes so we could have won another two seats in the Senate."
What happened?!?? Some candidates received more votes than their opponents. Some people backed the wrong dogs and are pissed. Others voted for the correct dogs and they're not pissed. The majority of votes win. That's how it works. That's how it happened.
