You are praising the god by singing an ancient Tamil song. Beating the drum(parai) within the temple,also each and every civilians participating in the pooja just in front of god. This was the pooja system adopted by Tamil community before 1900. But now ,in the Tamil nadu,india ,the music instrument parai not allowed within the temple ,also the civilian other than some particular community not allowed to perform temple pooja. So this is the clear cut proof shows what was the culture of tamilian in tamilnadu prior to 1900. Because my community migrated to various part of world as labourers by British in mid 1800(1820-1880) especially to srilanka, Mauritius, south africa, reunion Island,gaudlope island. Really happy to see my community and their orginal culture. Though they forgot their ancestral language Tamil as speaking language but they still remembering the song which used traditionally more than many centuries through generation by generation.❤ God bless you dears ❤
