As strange as it may seem, I agree with Andy 110%. At any other time, such a theory would be considered insane. But before Americans would ever willingly accept an entirely new monetary system there would have to be a totally unexpected crisis preceding it... in other words, a black swan event so frightening that the population would embrace ANYTHING just to "fix the problem." The only reason for the government to exist is to first create the problem, then miraculously supply the solution. This is the American way.

I feel your pain Andy Schectman. Its such a hard pill to swallow and still I grapple each day with the question WHY as it is so sinister but once you get your head round the idea of all this being engineered purposely, everything else falls into place. Its truly criminal!

Dedollarization = Decolonialism. So, it is highly unethical to print trillions of dollars out of thin air despite poor growth rates and export high inflation to so called third world countries. Was just down in Mexico doing business, Mexicans don't want USD anymore, they want Pesos. This is really unusual, USD was always prized in Mexico, not anymore. The world is moving away from the USD. Trying to pay the locals in USD, they didn't want it. Usually they take those eagerly.
Hmmmm that is strange. Even now the dollar is a much more appealing than the peso. Perhaps the government passed some regulation to make it harder to convert dollars for Mexicans citizens, or banks made rules where they take more more of a percentage of the dollar exchange in order to make it unappealing.
You aren't crazy you are more spot on than most people.
That said, the dollar cannot serve two masters, both the domestic and international economies, as shown by the Triffin Paradox. No national currency can.

Government military pensions are a leading inflation factor - People with 40 yrs working without a pension have to pay for the pensions of 38-yr-olds with a pension after 20 yrs - who should be thanking who for their service?

Right now, things seem odd. The US dollar is losing value due to inflation, but it is strengthening in comparison to other currencies and commodities like gold and real estate. Because they believe it to be safer, people are going to the dollar. I'm concerned that the rising inflation may lead my $420K in retirement funds to lose value. Where else could we put our cash?
Personally, I would say have a mentor. Not sure where you will get an experienced one, but if your knowledge of the market is limited, it seems like a good bet.
Very true, people downplay advisors role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff early 2020 amidst covid outbreak, I needed to stay afloat, hence researched for license advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge, and decades of experience, my stagnant reserve of $325K has yielded nearly $1m after subsequent investments so far.

Backed by gold is meaningless if there is no convertibility. Without convertibility "backed by" is absolutely meaningless.
Few Observations:
How is Student Debt the US largest Asset? It’s an Account Receivable (at best), not an asset, and much will never be repaid regardless of the effect on peoples’ credit scores.
Larger Assets are Real Estate, Business Assets, equipment, etc. And the natural resources of the land in the US.
Second, you can’t only look at the woes of the US while ignoring the Major problems of other countries, specifically China.
China has massive flooding, imprisonment and oppression of their population, a fake/propped up Middle Class and Empty/Fake RE market, entire cities empty or half built, they stage fake media events/propaganda to include fake flooding mitigation (sandbag filling) and fake rehab of flooded areas (clean a couple blocks to show the media and leave the rest untouched). 3Gorges Dam is moving (not stable, see satellite photos).
Andy is Spot On re the Justice system or lack thereof, Political Weaponization of Justice system, and how no one can recognize the US now compared to 20 years ago, plus Fentanyl and border crossings; HAS to be Intentional by Design!

Absolutely agree and have suggested to people in my life that everything we've seen over at least 20-30 years, if not more, is by design. The reactions are all over the spectrum...thus one of the many ways we ended up here. In the meantime they're excited about nonsense while failing to understand that the very way of life that allows them to focus on said provided nonsense is on life support.

People will be incentivized to accept a CBDC. If it doesn't work well enough, it will then be a terrible event. Most likely the bottomline of the "event", is that the value of people's money plummets or is lost. Like printing money like crazy and/or a tremendous amount of banks collapse. FDIC does not have enough reserves to cover but like 1-2%? of insured deposits.
