Epic work. ‘The Garden’ could have been THE only song to end this magnificent compilation of the ending of the greatest era of music and artistic beauty of many of our lives. Thank you for sharing this.
54:37 I love how Geddy's bass attacks just an instant after Alex's note an octave higher. I had to check the studio recording -- they hit the note at the same instant. This live performance is so much punchier with this little syncopation.
Showed up for my final paid piano lesson; teacher would not teach; she preferred to guide more gifted students towards Kiwanis prize winning who put in the 5 hours piano practice she demanded daily. When I did play for required practice length, other grade 12, 13 subjects suffered with so many master. I took long way home walking as dropped somewhere near pharmacy eglinton/ Lawrence latitude, upper mall studio with rooms of grand pianos.
Taking long way home, I stopped in a music store in vicinity seems to me southward. I rush musical book, anthology of rush song from the start of musical history.
Prior, my only rush experience wasq107: knew its entire place, acquired my Sony new fm-1 model Walkman before107.1 megahertz started transmitting modulating frequency electric radio waves.
Rush brought washing machines on stage with them for this tour because the band had an endorcement with "Tide" laundry detergent...so the band felt obligated to demonstrate in front of their fans just how fantastic this legendary detergent is by washing some of the fans clothing right on the stage...
@@jaym3064 only reason for that is to avoid copyright issues, as that video is a bit tougher to get into compilations than others. I did manage to get in Xanadu from that show in my third video in this series. Playlist is available on my channel!
@@blakeandotherstuff thank you! It’s a fun compilation!! I’m kinda surprised there hasn’t been an extended release of that ESL show in all these years.

On "Finding My Way" Neil looks like Moon
He really does! Keith Moon was his drumming idol.
Im in the audience on prime mover
They make a brilliant sound with only 3 Members Can anyone tell me why RUSH take tumble dryers onto the stage with them
So that Geddy can get a "clean" bass sound
Rush brought washing machines on stage with them for this tour because the band had an endorcement with "Tide" laundry detergent...so the band felt obligated to demonstrate in front of their fans just how fantastic this legendary detergent is by washing some of the fans clothing right on the stage...
Geddy started that to balance the stage since Alex had a wall of amps. & Geddy just plugged into the facility's P A system
@@williamadkins2170 thats correct
They want to have clean clothes for the next gig
I'm thinking I've never seen this no drummer sound version of Rush. I seriously am worried about my hearing.
Nothing from the ESL concert vid 😮

Terrible singing by Gadi Lee
You've made this comment in every video. We get it. You don't like Geddy's singing. Shut up and keep it to yourself.
Well said that man I agree with you he should keep him opinion to himself.

Are you going to post this stupid comment on every video.... please go away.
Another weirdo commenting nonsense on a Rush video. How refreshing.
