Around 18:33 Chuck breaks down and seems to think that after he has been saved, if he “knowingly” sins, it adds to the suffering Christ felt at the cross 2000 years ago. Sorry, Chuck, but Christ’s finished work on the cross was finished 2000 years ago and his work finished it all past present and future. No need for self pity and self immolation and guilt and all that. Christ is the Conqueror of all Sin and Death for all time. He was strong enough to handle it once and for all! For instead of tears for yourself feeling guilty, instead why don’t we praise Christ and give him all the gratitude we can muster for his power to save us from eternal separation from Holy God and sharing his inheritance with us and making us friends and heirs in his immeasurable riches and grace 😊! We know Dr, Chuck has passed and was saved and certainly was a great man inspired by the Holy Spirit.
I think you may have misread Chucks moment of sorrow. He is relating his own sin to outside of the time domain (as he says at 17:50) He knows what you just said about it being "finished" so his tears are for his own sorrow at EVER having added to Christ's suffering as we all have done. It's Chuck's deep thinking way of being sorry for his sins. Sometimes I break down when I think about how my sins have added to His suffering. When Christ paid for our sins, He saw ALL sins that we all have committed and those that we have YET to commit, _past, present and future!_ PS: You had me scrambling to find that part of the video. It's actually at 17:33 not 18:33.
@@chefjimmie1 nope I think I totally understood what I was saying. Let me double down and say one’s feelings about their sins can’t buy anything including peace with God and/or freedom from sin. Jesus did it all and all we have to do is believe the Gospel of Christ and his redemptive work on the cross.
Pastor Chuck was a very humble man he loved his Savior and God with all his heart and soul 💝💝🙏🙏🙏🙏
All of the videos were put in backwards. Part 6 is first.
9/2/24 Monday ❤
