Thanks for taking us along, I am a skin care junky and I found it very interesting. You looked amazing before this too, you glowing and beautiful,, but nice to have these treatments to preserve our skin, and keep us looking our best. I am having mine done tomorrow. I’m 54 so will be most likely be getting 3 treatments and hope it works as well on me too.just watched the end and I am shocked when you mentioned your age, I was thinking you were around 45.
Very interesting video. I am booked to have my first treatment next week. I would be interested to know if you have continued with the treatment amd if the improvement continued. I use tretinoin and was wondering if you do too? I am 57.
I haven't done it since but it's definitely my intention to do so. I don't use tretinoin and I very much doubt my skin could tolerate it as it's very sensitive. I prefer a gentle mild retinol and have found some great affordable skin products that I will be doing a video on soon.
Hello im a 54 yr old male .im not to bad for age .dont drink or smoke . I have deep set eyes .do u think this treatment would help me in any way . Love your approach and gentle honesty .many thanks nick x
It depends what you're after. It works on the lower part of your face and will subtly soften lines. It won't work for the forehead or deep lines around the eyes. However I really liked the what it did for me. Important to remember it's very subtle though so it's not going to have the same effect as surgery or fillers.
@@AgelessbyGlynisBarber .thankyou for explaining how that works .ill look into an option for the eye area. Ageless is a brilliant platform for retaining the skin you were born with as you no . Take care . Nick x
@@AgelessbyGlynisBarber Hello....I am male and 55 and having profhilo done on the 3rd of Feb.I am having fillers too but only slightly. 1 ml, as don't want a pillow face. I am quite excited ...lol
@@adrianlast195 I think it's a lovely treatment, I'm sure you'll like it. I wonder if you need the fillers as well though? Perhaps do the profhilo and let it settle and then decide? Just a thought.
@@AgelessbyGlynisBarber I am lucky as I look 10 years younger than my age. I have high cheek bones. The person who is doing the profhilo recommended my nasal labial lines filling. I have a shadow there from the crease. Also my mouth droops which is a family trait so I look like I have an upside down smile but has become more noticeable over the las last year. It also causes the corners of my mouth to have sores. At first I thought it may be because of a vit deficiency but my b12 and d levels are normal. I have used factor 30 everyday since aged 35 on my face. I also use just 2 drops of household bleach mixed with water to keep my looks younger.Just 2 drops no more. I looked into this and it is beneficial. Years back people used to have bleach baths for skin problems.A pharmacist told me that the 2 drops in water is beneficial but using more destroys the proteins.
My face wasn't puffy but I have heard that some people feel their face looks a bit bigger for a few weeks. I think this doesn't happen to most people but there is a chance.
Not impressed with Profhilo.I have malar mounds which I didn't have previously. I have my 2nd appointment on thursday.Don't think I will be having the 2nd dose.I need to get my eyes sorted now and I hope that i don't have to pay for that .I was told that profhilo can't enter hollows and cause mounds but it has.
Oh no, I've never heard of that happening with prophilo. It certainly didn't happen to me. Malar mounds are a common occurrence with ageing so perhaps the treatment has highlighted it? I would suggest waiting for things to settle down and delay the 2nd treatment if you have concerns. I found that my face was quite puffed up for a few weeks after (not in a bad way but made my face look fuller) but it calmed down after a while. Nearly a year later I still have the very positive effects on my skin. I guess it can also be down to your practitioner? I would always going to someone with a good reputation.
@@AgelessbyGlynisBarber Just got back and did have the 2nd dose of profhilo. Had a good chat with the person before going ahead. Had botox and cheek fillers too.I am not expecting to turn chicken shit into chicken salad but hopefully in a couple of weeks I shall see the benefits. Going to have RF on lower eyes and fibroblast on upper eyelids. She also told me that the masks you can buy with led lights are just as good as in any salon.

Does it make you puffy or just dewy?? Want to get this treatment but don’t want to add a puffy face like you have been on a salt binge

Didn't you also have fillers at the same time?
