I think they are wonderful, and do wonderful, very enjoyable music! They do a great job, and I'll bet all the members of the original 12 Girls Band would applaud them, and support them 100% too. I feel like the whole thing is about the Erhu and Dizi... those poor Pipa players are not featured at all... and to make matters worse, the Erhu players are not showing any emotions when performing... and who doesn't sing/play in joy when it's Totoro!!! And dare to have the cheek to be called Junior 12 Girls Band...
This is just one track from a dozen or more on a CD released by these young girls about 10 years ago. If you could hear them all, you might revise your opinion.

Quality music by quality musicians is a matter of grooming and choosing new talent, but the choosing is always done by the industry and it’s affiliations to their god *profit*!! “Cheap” IS what sells although a class act always sells even with NEW talent!!
vortex162 In the past ten years, the 12Girls Band has gone through turbulent times which are far too complex to examine here. The unfortunate thing is that have not produced any commercial music (CDs, DVDs etc) since 2001. Their concert appearances have diminished in number.
