    Hi Tiana! 😊 I'm a really anxious person and sometimes I watch your videos to help calm me down because your voice is just so soothing! 😊
    Thank you so much for showing us some uses for the Sticky Base Coat. I have some of this base coat (it's awesome!) and now, thanks to you, I have even more ways to use it. Thank you. I appreciate you very much.

      That is such a sweet compliment DiAnn! Perhaps I'm practicing on my 1.5 year old son who is really teaching me a lot about being patient as well as trying my patience ;) I normally sniff some of my fav essential oils before going on live, but you know - nerves sometimes gets the better of me. I hope you are doing well and keep up the wonderful work, nails or otherwise!

      @@rachelverdi437 In another video, they say you have to use the sticky black polish for that instead - the base is too thin to stamp with it, but that's what their sticky black polish is made for.

    That. Was Awesome. Im brand new to stamping and stumbled onto Maniology when my first attempt at stamping with a kot from Amazon and regular and gel polishes was an epic fail. I was determined to figure it out, though. I found the Starter kit offer for Maniology, and then fell in love with the wildly unique and esoteric plates at Maniology in the Tattoo Collab bundle and House of Horrors and Supernatural sets.... mirsl of the story is Im now a Manioligy addict. Ive got tons of chrome powdrs, and have the Sticky base coat included in the Not You Basics Bundle, so thrilled I can stsmp with the chromes! Question.. Is there any way to use the chrome powders in a stamp itself, ie: reverse stamp with them? Obviously cant apply with the stamper or applicator or it would cover the whole design and base polish.... but is it possible to mix chrome powders in w stamping polish before you brush it on the plate, or apply it with detail brush after the stamp is on the stamper like reverse painting?? Ill check out my new Maniology goidies on Wed, and experiment when they show up, but wondered if there were tips for either technique. Oh, and as for your regular polish issues.... I know its not supposed to work, but I absolutely cure regular polishes in a LED lamp.... it works just fine, though may take a bit longer than gel, 2 mins or so. Then your regular polish is rock hard, and you can run to the restroom withiut killing your mani .Si excited abt my new maniology schtuff! Thanks for the tips!!!

      Oh wow that's awesome thank you I am going to have to try my lamp next time I have alot of thick regular polish (ALWAYS)🤣.. but I was always curious about that... As far as powders have you happened to figure out the best technique to stamp with them.. I have really been wanting to try and just haven't.. I would love to know how you apply powder for both full coverage and stamping if you don't mind sharing.. please and thank you and have a great day 💙

    😍 🤩💖❣️love it ! Why is it called revers stamping?

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This technique is often referred to as "reverse stamping" where you fill in the stamp with other colors before transferring it to your nails. Here's a link to our Facebook Lives where we talk about reverse stamping techniques: facebook.com/watch/hellomaniology/701300610578318. Hope this helps!

    do you have video on how to clean the stamper thoroughly? I'm difficult to clean my sticky stamper . i hope you notice me , thank you 😊 i love your products 😘 i have brought already .

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  ปีที่แล้ว

      We recommend cleaning the stamper before use with some dish soap and water and air dry on a paper towel. You can clean between uses with just some tape, a lint roller, or our Sticky Stamper Station: maniology.com/products/sticky-stamper-station-nail-art-planner-and-stamp-cleaner . Cleaning with acetone will wear out the clear material much faster! It's also unnecessary to clean the stamper with acetone. Thank you!

    can you use this sticky product directly on the plate in order to stamp it on the nail and apply foil or powder on top after?

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Izanami, it's recommended to apply it directly to your nails to make them a bit tacky, ensuring the foil or powder adheres properly. However, feel free to experiment and see what works best for you. 💖

    how long can you wait till you do your reverse designs to put on the nail?

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question because the timing is important. Once the image on the stamper has been colored, we'd recommend waiting until the polish is dried completely. When you're ready to transfer the image onto the nail, paint a thin layer of the sticky base coat and wait about 45 seconds so the surface of the nail is tacky, but not wet. Apply the stamper to the nail to transfer the image.

    Is this basecoat good for nail polish gripping? Essie Here Stay basecoat was good thin and lasted 3 days before it shrank and started chipping! All chip! UK 25.4.24 🇬🇧

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This special sticky base coat is formulated to grip on to stamps, powders, glitters, and loose foils for long-lasting wear. Perfect for reverse stamping, our Sticky Base Coat remains tacky for longer periods of time (compared to regular base coats) and transforms into a clean, non-adhering base when dry. For longevity, nail prep is the key. Push back your cuticle and clean your nail beds before applying a base coat, followed by thin layers of polish. A top coat while capping the free edge is crucial for longevity. Hope this helps!

  • @ritamae2474

    Question, do you need to use the sticky base coat to just do a basic stamp on your nails or will the stamping polish stay on your dry nail?

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No need to use a sticky base coat if you will stamp it as soon as you picked up the design from the plate. ❤ The design will stick and stay on a dry nail without a sticky base coat.

      I have tried it on loose foils (like the type that is really light and crushed in a pot). I haven't personally tried it on any rolled foils because we don't carry this type of product anymore. This product is definitely sticky enough. I would say it's worth a shot.

      Hi there! The sticky base coat will dry down completely like a normal base coat does. There is a small window of stickiness to apply your decals, powder, or stamp. This information can be found on our product page! Thanks!
