Andito ako ngayon sa Switzerland for more than 10 years. Praying na pag uwi ko ng Pilipinas after 2 years maganda na ang Manila International Airport 🙏💕
They need to expand NAIA 2 before Cebu Pacific moves in. As both 5J/PR has a large domestic network the gates will not be enough for flights departing almost at the same time. They may add more bus gates as a temporary fix
Anyone dissing this terminal and comparing it with newer-built terminals in other countries is missing the proper context: this was built in the late 90s. So stop comparing it with Changi or Chek Lap Kok. T3 is the newest terminal in the NAIA complex, it's larger, has better amenities. Not world-beating, but decent. Now wait for the New Manila Int'l Airport to be finished. That would make most modern airports in the world primitive in comparison.
@@gfuah1499 Another self-hating pinoy with an internalized inferiority complex, colonial mentality and suffering from stockholm syndrome. Your western-beholden elites and oligarchs turned your country into nothing more than a cheap supplier of raw materials and unskilled labor. Wake up little brown amboys, the west is not your friend!
Well, Chep Lap Kok in HK was also built and in the late 90s and opened a year before Manila's Terminal 2, and Changi's Terminal 1 was built two decades before Terminal 2 of Manila.
Yes I saw naia 2 in 2018, 2019 and 2022 and the toilet was dirty. The airport looked old and not taken cared of. Now 4th q of October, it has improved. Of course it can be better but definitely MUCH MUCH better than several years back! I hope more investors and better management. Kudos to the new management for starting the change.
Even T3 is not comparable to other Asian airport, what making even worst is when I fly domestic in T2 but connecting to international in T1 by PAL but you have to go thru the outside public road which takes longer time😢 PAL is also semi LCC
Yon din ang minus sa Airpot na ang domestic flight T 1.. from international connecting fliht to domestic flight sana may runway bridge din at para hindi ka na lumabas pa sa airport terminal to take shuttle bus or taxi with this heavy traffic. Just saying sana si Mr. Ramon Ang will take action for this for problem they should think the comfort of the passengers to connecting domestic flight from international flight.
Bakit ang airports terminal sa Philippines ay parang terminal ng mga buses. Sana mag design cla ng katulad sa US na ang boarding area ay separated bawat boarding gates at hindi nakaharang sa hallway. Napaka gulong tignan at fire hazard pa dahil sa mga chairs in the middle of the walk way. Sa terminal 3 sobrang dami ng advertising billboards. Mas maganda advertise nila ay mga tourist destinations sa Pilipinas, hindi commercial billboard. Just my opinion.
Thank you for your brilliant insight, Capt. Obvious! For proper context, T1 was built in the 80s, T2 in the late 90s. Ignorants critics keep comparing it to newly-built terminals in other Asian countries without mentioning the proper context.
@@Angus.MacGyver Well, international tourists and business visitors don't care when those terminals were built. They just care about smooth and convenient travel experience when they arrive in a country. Keep deluding yourself that Terminals 1 and 2 are up to international standards. Old buildings with stinky restrooms, one-way escalators (if any!), cheap concessioners that belong to bus terminals, cheap signages, chaotic flight transfers, lack of public mass transportation to/from the airport, not to mention the lack of reliable power supply and AC units, and what have you. Hence, these 2 outdated NAIA terminals will always suffer from comparison with those of the other SEA countries. As what i've said before, these 2 terminals are only fit for domestic operations. The phil govt should now realize that having world-class beaches isn't enough to entice foreign tourists but also having modern and efficient infrastucture as well. I know, the truth hurts. Unfortunately, until that new international airport north of Manila is built and operational, expect bashings to continue esp. from foreign vloggers.
Pangit bg airport nato nakatiles ang sahig parang hospital wala talagang inspiration mga filipino leaders pagadating sa international airport domestic kulang sa upuan siksikan ang tao walang space why we cant build an airport like singapore . Modern and well equipped with all and extra amenities filipino mentality pwede pwede nayan.

seen so many airports but I dont think this is the worst. ganda parin ng NAIA di pa na nagstart ng Rehab

They may add more bus gates as a temporary fix
Also, Delays in both airlines can cause a domino effect on gate availability for arriving aircraft

T3 didn't even have a working AC before 2017/2018. I seriously doubt the New Airport will be anything mind-blowing..

NAIA Terminal 3 lang ang presentable. Yung Terminals 1 at 2, pang domestic travel lang ang dating.

Too small for the number of people going through this terminal. Lacks for better food shops-restaurants among other things
Not an impressive airport, but not the worst in the world.
Not really, stop watching condescending, racist foreign channels. It's better than most in Africa, South Asia or less developed parts of the world.
