@sunnybeachlife5860 I thought after the grand hotel was upgraded there was still a bit to do for 2025? I stayed at the globus years ago, thought it was a great base.
I came to Sunny Beach last September (2024) and it was the best holiday ever, Bulgaria and Sunny Beach is so beautiful and I stayed at the Melia Beach Hotel and it was a great hotel and the food was amazing and the people were so welcoming and amazing. I love Sunny Beach and Bulgaria and I’ll be back this September again
You made a good choice of hotel. We live September as it's still warm but not manic. We came once then bought an apartment a second time, just lived it, especially the people.
Brilliant to see money been spent cleaning up the resort it's long overdue they can't expect people to return each year and see no improvements I'm delighted to see the work going ahead even if it is a small bit each year Oliver Enniskillen
My goodness! Disparaging Mac D's and the KFC! Ronny and the Colonel won’t be pleased with you. Truth is that I often sit on the bench mid-day facing the both of them just passed Jack’s and their prices have never enticed me once in all the years I’ve been Sunny Beaching. Excellent narration, Susan! 😊
The prices are hiked in the resort. We did like Hessburger but they seem to have changed. Susan is getting better, voiceover at home takes getting used to.
It think the refurbished hotel is going to be called AluaSoul Sunny Beach. It's going to be a great choice once open. Enjoy the Sunday. Should not be that many weeks until it warms a bit there.
Best Western works truely year around and it's very nice. I do send my clients all the time there, because is also close to Flora restaurant that work year around, the bus central stop also very close & Mladost supermarket. Is just good located hotel, there are few who also keep working, but this one is just very nice located.
It's why we have an apartment in rose residence not far away. In winter it's the best area for businesses being open. We don't go out much in winter, normally a day out at Burgas at it is busy and lively.
I hope they change the staff and entertainment at the neptun. Loverly hotel,but we had a terrible stay there. Rude staff,terrible food,and the entertainment was ,well awful. It was all geared up for the Germans,who are very rude. We even thought of going home early,it was that bad.😢
You are in the minority, sorry but on guest reviews from last year it was in the top 5 again in Sunny Beach. If you want a more British feel then probably Laguna Park or Meliá would suit you better. British are very much a minority here so yes most hotels are not geared to Brits like Benidorm or have mainly Brits in them On the other hand there is plenty outside a hotel to enjoy. There are rude people of all nationalities, it's not fair to generalise as I could say bad things about any group that comes here. Probably next time stick to bars like Iglika, Fat Cat etc which are mainly for Brits. We have many good German friends here, lovely people.

You mean the old globus, they have started on the final part now so all open as Sheraton hopefully this year

Snowing hard now. , yes it will obviously have a rename as they did with Dreams and Secrets. I could not find anything on the Hyatt website yet.

I went to the Iglika back in June. Sat on the benches under the trees and got bites all over by legs. Worst mistake ever!
We don't sit by hedges in summer. That was a really big one though.
