Ariel did a great job on this run. Skiers watching this video should pay attention to the go pro footage from her fall and slide at Snowbird earlier this season. If they don’t have experience skiing in steep natural terrain and not experienced the potential hazards they may have a false sense of their skills. There is an old joke that says, “ Confidence is the feeling you have before you realize the gravity of the situation “.
Very true. She could've recovered from hitting the ice if she stayed balanced and leaning forward. Having the right skills and experience are the key to do well in steep terrain especially when condition is not ideal.
Not enough. :) We took zero this season (5th). They took a lot during the first season (6-7?) out of 20 days. It came down to 3-4 classes in the 2nd and 3rd season. In the fourth season, they went to Snowbird seasonal program, so 10 classes, that was the season they improved a lot.
That was impressive. Although I have never skied it, I am well aware of Delirium Dive’s reputation as one of the toughest in-bounds areas in N America. You guys rocked it like you always do.

I love whenever Aaron is at the top of some of the hardest runs in the world he always just says its easy!
yes, he does that all the time, it is either easy (for anything he can ski) or hard. nothing in between.

Appreciate it! Delirium dive is a fun run, not as hard core as those big sky runs but definitely challenging
Dang do I feel less “advanced” now:) Not only would I be out-skied by a girl but by a LITTLE girl to boot! She has great form.
