Ingredients (2 cup)
1 cup water
2 green cardamoms
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 inch cinnamon stick
Sugar
I cup milk
1 tbsp tea powder or tea leaves
-In a saucepan or kettle, add 1 cup of water, crushed ginger, crushed green cardamoms and cinnamon stick.
-Boil the water, ginger and green cardamom mixture and cinnamon stick for 4 to 5 minutes or until the color of the water changes to a mild yellowish hue.
-add sugar (optional)
-add 1 cup milk and let it boil for 2 minutes.
-now add tea powder or tea leaves and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
-Strain the tea through a strainer into the cups.
