okay...I just the exact steps as in video, turned it back on, put my code in, I saw the BARS in upper left corner, but it still said NO SIM....everything works fine on it now....in the video, did he kinda bend the SIM Card? and, is he using his nail or skin when rubbing?
This worked. I accidentally removed my sim after trying to remove dirt from the speaker mesh and the sim hole on my iPhone 6 Plus. The sim fell out and once I put it back in it said no sim, after doing this fix it fixed it.
The second the video started, I thought my phone literally just said “No Sim Card Installed”. I was like, “what are the chances of that happening while I am watching a video of that happening???” Congratulations you have successfully made me feel like a moron. 🙄 🏆
I just said "Are you kidding me!?" out loud. It worked instantly. I never would have thought to just wipe the sim card off with my thumb. Insane that it's that sensitive.
