Cheers mate, this one took about 3 days in total, 2 to make the chain and I spent an extra day making the clasp, it had alot of detail and I didn't show it but I set a Ruby in the symbol on the back.
They were soldered because the links get put under alot of stress due to twisting. I usually don't show that much of it, it's the slowest part of the process.
Good luck, I'd recommend using copper wire to practice its cheaper and softer so it's easier to work,. I'm currently working on a tutorial (how to type video) for Cuban chains which I go into every detail I can think of, hopefully that will help if your just getting started.
I used 2mm which is about 12 gauge, and for the drill bits I used a 4mm drill bit for the small ones and then put 2 4mm bits together for the large ones.

It's a lot easier getting up to glowy-red with a glowy-red stove-top. ghettoey, I know, but it's so damn fast; and less gas.

It's about 3.2mm thick and 7.8mm wide.

Approx what total length of wire did you use? And what was the finished chain length?
I used 180cm of 2mm/14 gauge wire. The final chain was about 41cm/16", not including the clasp.

What is the wire gauge or size
Most of my chains use 2mm (12 gauge) wire ,which is a decent size. If the links are too small you can spend days soldering them together.
