Heyb thanks for the video ... I also have a broken quick connector I want to replace ... Just one question how did you get the barbed end on the broken quick connector out of the hose ... I'm struggling and can't budge it ... Thought of cutting hose shorter but don't think it the same diameter seems to have a larger socketed end on the hose ... So sir how'd you get old fitting out of the hose
I ended up getting rid of those fuel lines. To get the connector out I used a small blade to cut the end of the hose. Once inside you will see that there is a heat shrinked hose on the barbed end of the connector preventing it from moving. Check my channel for the update video I did on this.
Hello, the AEM pump specs are about 43psi? Isn't it too much for the motorcycle? Do you know what the standard working pressure of the Augusta is? I have the same problem and looking for a s right aftermarket pump to replace. Thanks
I have not had any issues with the pump. It held up to abuse on the dyno and a few track days as well. Check some of my newer videos and let me know what you think.
Have had exactly the same issue with Feul pipes perished, this video was a huge help, thanks a million.
Yeah man I'm very lucky to be alive. Mine died on a 2 lane highway at 50 mph. Fortunately nobody was driving close behind.
@@Turbo329 my pump also died when accelerating at a speed of 150km/h and I thought it was the engine...I didn't know what happened..
@@certi600 Mine just got clogged. I'm not sure what happened. Almost like that charcoal canister started to leak somehow.

Hell yeah dude! I’m gonna do the same thing just because those pumps are readily available
Did you notice a difference in power or throttle response by using the high flow AEM fuel pump over the OEM?
Not really.
for €100 you get a 4 piece set made of brass

Nice, how much was the pump?
If I recall, the pump was around $115. I think I bought this one from Summit Racing. It's been sitting on my basement shelf for about a year.
