Along with his family, Abdilahi “A.B.” Hassan opened the first Hoyo’s location in 2014 on Columbus’s North Side. Their aim is to introduce guests to Somali food and ultimately reach a wider audience. By combining traditional food with the modern fast-casual delivery method, A.B. and his family encourage guests to try their family recipes that taste both exotic and familiar at the same time. excellent bro Somali food is great. There's variety. The dishes themselves are not too spicy
Thank you for trying our food 😊 The sambusas are typically cooked in very large batches and then frozen/refrigerated. Somali food is very meat/ fish, flat bread or anjera cantered (different from Ethiopian injera). The rice and veg complement the meat components of the meal to create a balance, so it’s very hard to get the entire experience if you are both vegetarian but I’m glad you liked it.
