I was cleaning out my late husband's desk. I lost him 15 months ago today. I put on a cd I found. I'd never heard this song before. I completely lost it, washed in waves of grief. It's as if he were talking to me.

I dedicate this song to my beloved daughter who passed away far too early, only 14 years of age. She was a warrior in her own right, struggling with her medical situation all her life, allways facing the difficult procedures she had to undergo with an awe inspiring bravery and yet so meek and high spirited that she truely was the light in my life. I indeed will allways remember her. Missing her is feeling my love for her now she has gone.

Yeah...me too. Being forgotten is almost the only thing that REALLY scares the hell out of me. Only child here...lonely place to be when they are all gone.
