Watching this show reminded me of my childhood and it was a good simple time in life
When men were men and not wussy boys.
R.I.P. David Soul, please spread some love and heartfelt condolences to his family. His smile, laughter and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.
Absolutely. And never forget..... silver lady.

They had great chemistry between them and it was easy to see that the friendship was real.Starsky was so funny at times.
Yes he was
This show was way ahead of its time. I remember watching it in reruns, but I didn't realize that it was this good.
ditto, I think it was the first tv show that had episodes resembling movies, and with Lalo Schiffrin scoring, a little like a Dirty Harry movie
Not many notice Lalo's scoring, observant of you I have been a fan for a long time he did most Dirty Harry films and Mannix etc. If a show's music stands out Schiffrin probably did it. ;
One of my favorite shows growing up.R.I.P. David Soul aka Hutch
A great show from my childhood. David Soul, one half of a great duo, who will be missed by many. We will never give up on you…………..RIP
One of my favorite all time shows! When I was 22 I bought a 74’ Gran Torino because of Starsky and Hutch. I’m 61 now and that car is still my favorite. Wish I still had it but I was hard on that poor car, if I knew then what I know now.....
I heard the David soul had passed away. Thank you for all your service to the television industry and may your memory be a blessing.
R.I.P David soul ! Loved his blue eyes 😢😢
Cool TV series I'll still watch it to this day
Starsky:"you sold me a hot watch"!
Huggy bear:" it was cold when I touched it"!😂😂😂
Such a classic. I enjoyed it. I was a teenager when this show was out. Starsky was so good lookig back then. He had the "coolest" car too.. Thanks for sharing
The Paul still look like this today just a little older.
The 70's when guns never needed reloading
And people used payphones since smartphones were science fiction.
' Feelin' lucky Punk ?'
42:20 hit it!
Best detective show of the 70 s hands down
When i was 5 my dad was watching his favorite show he grew up with and showed me it. It immediately became one of my favorite shows and still is to this day we would binge watch them on the weekends.
I remember these shows like Charlie's Angels, Vegas, and Wonder woman
Sounds exactly like my story great show with great characters ! Still love to watch now nostalgic maybe but great TV which ain't so great now !
I looked forward to it every week and had an obsession with the car..Great days aye 👍
The big lebowski jumper ❤
@@kenyattasimpson8468me too bro I was born in 76 … and you ???
One of the best episodes. Love some Captain Dolby! 😆. Starsky & Hutch!!
Remember watching starsky and hutch in late 70s and early 80s, great episode, happy days.
Starsky and Hutch are really invincible!
Great chemistry between Starsky and Hutch..and Great cop show
They let go of this series too early, they could've made it continue longer. I just enjoyed watching Starsky and Hutch. Everytime I see them in their car , I think of Coca-Cola 😂
OH AYE, BEEFY MUSS MIT DADDY'O !
I WIZ 7YO WHEN THAT CAME OOT.
👍👍👍👍
@@laurietijerina3816 I agree. They could have made the series last longer. But according to an article I read years ago, why they cancelled it was because like a lot of the actors of shows like that want to go on and do other things. Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) was the one who wanted to stop doing this show. He said he had enough of it, and that he wasn't really all that happy playing Starsky. He wanted out. Anyway, that's what I had read.
@@laurietijerina3816tudo por causa do PMG, mas aconteceu tanta tragédia na vida dele, que ia acabar da mesma forma
Yes, PMG wanted to go into directing! He never wanted the role from the beginning , only wanted to beef up his resume ! Neither of them thought it was going to make it after the pilot ! It’s funny we are still talking and watching it today , all these years later ! So it must’ve had something going for it 💗
Rest In Peace Hutch I grew up on your show 70s cool forever.
I REALLY liked that actress who played the SF cop (Kathleen Miller).
She had a real presence and style - like she wasn't acting at all.
R.I.P. to her (I just looked up her bio).
Thanks for posting this episode.
☮
Always loved music featured in this episodes as well as the plot lines.
Great music!
David.....may God bless your....."Soul" Thank you...for the many fond memories, regarding your great career.
The greatest show of the 70’s. Shame they don’t make these type of series anymore.
I agree the 70s80s TV shows were awesome but if they made tv shows like that now only ppl out age will enjoy tham 😅
The last good comparison would be Simon & Simon.

RIP Hutch, you will be missed.
I was 20 when this came out. I had the biggest crush on Hutch ( David Soul). Never missed an episode.
I had a crush on Starsky. I was probably about 11 or 12.
@@shivaunwhite4549 Me too. I was 12
Well I had a crush on the car, still do
Gotta love the unlimited ammo in the first gun fight. The continuity in the '70's was something else. 😅
I missed the simple days back then
Life was no so complicated than !!!
You Ain't Gettin I miss them days too❤❤❤❤❤
Same here.
Me too
That’s because they’re the main characters so they can’t be killed as it doesn’t make any sense to kill off the main characters
It's sad to hear of David souls passing, bless him
As a teenage girl in the 70's watching this show i always wanted to be rescued by David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser.
Oh I've just taken a bullet to the shoulder....... it's ok though, I can still make the Paris trip 🤣😂
"IT WAS COLD WHEN I TOUCHED IT" I'm still ROTFL
I love it when Starsky backs Huggy right up to his cash register opens it and snaps his fingers for his money back classic cool right there.
How about now, 7 months later. 😂
I fell in love with David Soul at the age of 10 saw him twice in concert loved him ever since, him and this show will be part of my heart forever ❤❤
I miss this show
I loved watching starsky and hutch back in the day 😊
Me too. I remember the days after coming home from high school. It would come on at three pm, followed by Swat & Barreta. Cool, days.
Wow, 3pm😲In Australia it was on 8.30 at night when all children were in bed , or should have been !
When it ran @ 3PM it was reruns on an alt channel decades later. When it was originally broadcast it was I think in the 8-9 PM slot. ;
They changed theme song intros each year. I liked them all.
For me I only liked the first season one from Lalo Schifrin.
I miss these old shows i grew up watching R.I.P. David Soul 🙏🏿
Used to come on Friday nights in England, during the 70s, and followed by another classic: Soap (with the Butler, Benson). Mid to late 70s, seemed to be a beginning of a new era, with most families having colour TVs, Supermarket shopping.
We miss you David soul on Hutchinson you thank you for all the good episodes of you and hutch Paul Michael Glaser thank you too sir thank you guys very much
This episode was great twists and turns then the true payoff
No one reloaded. Just endless gunfire🤣🤣🤣
The best tv cops ever, they were “real” and they also had black friends (Huggy Bear)
well i never !!
I think they took the twist about the mob boss' daughter from 'Narrow Margin' (the original black and white version). Enjoyable episode. Thanks for posting.
That hair the dodgy secretary has should definitely be illegal should be given 25 to life just for having that hair 😂
I loved Starsky's love of watches. He was so funny when it came to them.
Yep good old Harskey and Stutch
Every Friday evening 9250m BBC 1..... simply couldn't wait as a 7-11 year old
46:55 Oh the good old days, the memories 😢Rest In Peace Hutch.
Channel 3, 6 , and 10 was all we had back in 1975.
This is true
Now this was TV !!! I'm 65 😉
Love old Staircase and Hatch(I think it was Cracked magazine that did that version)....what little boy didnt grow up in the 70's with his dad watching Starsky and hutch?Well if he could stay up that late anyway.Great memories that I will cherish forever.
Thank you for uploading the episodes of Starsky and Hutch. This was one of my favorite cop shows growing up. Thank you again.
In the intro when hutch jumps and lands his bottom on top the roof of the car, that injured his back
Funny I remember reading that, it was a scene in the pilot. Good memory there Ron. ;
@@bailey9r I bought my father in law the complete 3 season set from a Amazon for 35 bucks (I think) he has not watched it yet. I’m going to over to his house and re gift it to myself
@@bailey9r if you have not seen it TH-cam. Starsky and Hutch vs general lee. Both cars 18 ft long and weigh 4,000 lbs. they look gorgeous
Guns never needed reloading ..😂
My favorite show on T.V. besides Happy Days. I would by the DVD set later. I told my 17 year old son to put in the DVD and check it out and watch it and he loved it so much he binged watched it for two days ! 🤣🤣
R.I.P Hutch - David Soul
Car-key and Clutch was and still is my favourite cop show along with Kojak Baby 📍

Rest in peace david soul
I always loved the car!
Awesome show
From Hawaii Five-0 & Adam-12 of the late 60s-early early 70s to a cooler hipper cop show "Starsky Hutch!" RIP to Kenneth "Hutchinson" (David Soul)
Those 8track tape days 1975-79
I hated 8 tracks. loved cassettes. you could make mixed tapes! 8 tracks were big slow
and skipped to another track in middle of a song.
@@elvinposey5251 I have 1000's of every form of cassette tape going cheap, new/used, all brands, all lengths, including D180's, the TDK 3 hour tape. M.
This was the best intro music of the series
Those were the good ole days watching these great episodes .
The secretary should have been arrested for that haircut alone 😅
Eejeje ejeejejej it's a wig, I guess ...
it is kinda stupid they didn't figure it out until the end. I was 11 and I knew it was her.
It was horrible even for that time 🤮
@@elvinposey5251 Yup, the close-up of her dubious fave expression at about 10 mins in is a safe clue😊
My mom had that haircut back then...
Groovy Music 😁
This show had good background music.
In the early 70's, when I was around 6 or 7, a neighbor-friend and I would play "Starsky and Hutch" a lot. I remember we used to argue about who was gonna be who. I had a snub-nosed detctive's revolver with white grips that shot cap-caprings.
I love the music playing during the scenes from these 70's shows.
R.i.p David Soul😢
Awesome 😎
The same two 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne 2dr & 1963 Chevrolet Impala coupe that were used on the first episode proper 'Savage Sunday'. The latter getting blown up in that. Also notable for appearing at the end of the first season's opening credits.
Rest in peace David Soul

The hoodlum who drove that light blue 75' Ford Granada 4 door sedan sure looked like Donald J. Trump. He even sounded a bit like Trump with the inflection & tone of his speech. Another good episode from the 1st season.
Great Episode!! Poor George (:
Antonio Fargas was a police informer .
That same green Chevy that had a bomb in it and explodes in the title sequence.
Classic! Loved that show! Rest in peace David.
SHE IS A VAMPIRE! THAT SCENE IS PRICELESS.
47:42, when i first saw this at a 13 year old, i never caught the joke.
OMG, San Francisco before the pyramid tower....beautiful 11:10

The Bad cop from Magnum Force lived and became a Good cop under another name! Talk about playing Good Cop Bad Cop ha ha
One of the all time greats of TV😊
Oldest twist in the book still missed it despite seeing this episode at least twice before 😂😊
Simple days were good days. Less complicated.
La musique d'ambiance est fantastique 🙏
