For the auto affiliate, it's inconsistent at times. If u hv just freshly changed the gears around, it takes the game a while to process the change in bp so the auto affiliate wouldnt immediately affiliate ur soldiers to the top 5 heroes. Best is just to manually check that they r affiliated correctly.
They all interact differently so it completely depends on your opponents team! Generally the rare units arent used for attacking I would recommend axes, destroyers, shadowcasters and stuff like that or fliers depending on the opponent

Best stats for bp are hero specific, arrogance gets alot more bp from cdgm mainstat than attack %

Yeah gotta restart the game if u did swap gears for it to refresh faster.

Depends on the soldiers you're using and who you want to get the biggest boost from affiliations.

Until they buff the gvg rewards none of this really matters, but good video either way lol
