I'm a pretty darn good guitarist...should be since I've been playing all my life...
And I rolled my eyes but clicked your video anyway....
All I can say is this is an excellent video and a goldmine I wish I had 30 years ago!!!!

If I tune by ear I usually match my tuning to a key that I can play as an open string, thanks for watching!

People want a to see and copy what someone else does. Like when you heard smoke on the water the first time. You didn’t want to know anything BUT how did you do that , what strings did you use, where did you put your fingers , ect……..
I’m not taking from your lesson the importance of theory, just saying , most learn by just looking and you could or others could just say , put your fingers here and here and pick this note or strum this chord and get more out of it …….just a thought

Hey, thank you for taking the time to give your feedback and sorry you feel like I missed the mark with this lesson! Do you mean that you just want to know how to play songs/riffs, is there a specific one you'd like a lesson on? Thanks again, I appreciate it!

"...most learn by just looking and you could or others could just say...) Sure thing, Einstein. Last time anybody checked , there were prbly dozens and hundreds of places to get tutorials e.g. Marty,Shut Up., Jon Mclennan, Andy et al. Why should yet another channel bother...

Graphics r faulty at 1:13? The 5th (G) is on the 8th fret B string. Should be on the 3rd fret high E string G.

At 1:14 Both are correct. The G shown is played with pinky. In your shape the index plays the G,
