The train is governed by cab signals, once you exceed the posted speed limit you have to move the master controller from power to brake until your back at the proper speed, I’m a Septa market frankford train operator, our turns run the same exact way

Nope. The N5 cars, Silverliner IVs, and Comet coaches still lack auto announcements. The Broad Street Line cars have audio but no video display for stops.

Some people prefer it over the automated announcements. Mainly due to the Philadelphian dialect the operators tend to have, the Silverliner Vs automated announcements often butcher the name pronunciations :/

I'm actually glad they don't. I prefer the driver/operator actually go on the intercom to call the stops, especially on the NHSL and on the trolleys (101, 102, 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36),
