I thoroughly agree with your comments regarding age and size when it comes to style. I'm now 64 and a uk size 18 but I do not compromise what I wear. I still hunt out clothes that mirror my individuality. And I will never lose my love of fashion.

I’m 64 and I remember my dad always telling me, you will stay young if you don’t let the number dictate how you feel, he was 81 when he told me that.
Fashion, Makeup and my lifestyle will always be with me.

Hi Karen I'm 80 I've always loved and enjoyed fashion, I have more money to spend now on my passion for clothes but I walk with a stick and I'm treated as though I am invisible in shops there is no courtesy shown to older women in clothes shops and there are rarely seats in the fitting rooms. I am lucky I am able to buy on line, I follow some Advanced Style ladies wo can be rather extreme and source most of their fashion from charity shops, I really admire that but it takes the human element away. Still it is good to still be able to express your individuality xx

Karen, you may know this, but if not, I highly recommend Ari Seth Cohen's books "Advanced Style". He has three out now, Advanced Style, Advanced Style Older & Wiser and Advanced Love. He interviews and photographs (fantastic fashion photography) older people and their personal style, both fashion and life. They are wonderful books and inspiring in my opinion. Loved this video by the way, great message!

Bravo Karen 💐 for being so influential to speak on an international panel about how perhaps the fashion industry can initiate reforms such as a broader inclusivity. Beauty and the love of being beautiful is a concept for all types of humans and should not be solely focused on a certain prototype such as youth. Youth is optimal however if we are all lucky enough, we also get wiser with age. However that does not necessarily mean we want to stop evolving our style.

In the late1960s and early 1970s we all made our own denim skirts just like that. We cut a pair of jeans up the middle to open the legs and inserted the fabric of our choice in the center as a godet. Funny that you think it was from Y2K era. Every hippie girl had one!

Urban Revivo has a lot of great statement pieces, but the sizes are questionable because some only size option of XS and it not because it sold out because it not showing other sizes like the other drop boxes are. Is this one size only vibe?

I am trying to get together what I will be packing for going home to ATL for 11 days and a peek into your Paris closet confirms that I should be packing my colorful Nike running shoes because I was questioning it. You are giving great ideas for looks I can put together but I know for sure that everything that I bought from Amazon's The Drop by Karen will be making the trip. I get compliments every time I wear a piece from your collection.
My motto when it comes to what I will wear now in my 60s is whatever I want and personally feel comfortable in because I will not be dressing like my grandmother nor my mom in her late age. And I do have problem with articles and others that think they can dictate what age or size appropriate to wear. But it great that you did cover about body size because I am conscious since my figure is not what I am comfortable with right now, but I need to get to the mindset it is what it is.
It exciting to watch the things you do and the places you, Michael, and friends go. I want to be like you when I grow up.
