CecilDaBomb1117 I was looking for a comment that said that 😅
Some of us do at least XD
Yea my entire school life before high school we called it PE (before high school because it isn’t a required class now) so I was really confused. I live in Georgia so finding out that PE is a ‘British’ term had me shook. I would expect that more up north and in Canada even, but in the south? Weird
yeah, I called it Gym until mid-High school, then it became PE.

How many story-time animators does it take to comment in a video that's 4 days old? Four, apparently.
Ah, I love the new cartoon style, and her movements are so well animated! And the backgrounds, such as at 5:15, are so well drawn and have such a nice feel to them! Sounds like China was a really neat experience, and really opened up your eyes to new ideas and cultures! Amazing video, Reed! I can see why it took so much time to complete! Plus, learning a new program, especially one like ToonBoom, is difficult, yet you managed to not only learn it, but create an entire video during that time!
6:47 was hilarious, by the way, haha!
Thanks Cabs! Definitely appreciate it. I hope the 4 month wait was worth it!

Whoever pronounced those Chinese words is really bad at Chinese, because I literally just heard "e". And I'm a native speaker of Chinese.
The tones are a bit more exaggerated; you're supposed to pronounce Yú (fish) with the pitch of your voice increasing, while Yǔ (rain)'s sound is supposed to dip down at first but then climb back to where it began.

Ooh, that's a big up in quality, huge animation improvements here, also Maths is the same issue with me, I skipped practically all of my years when it came down to Maths, I was too ahead in my land of birth, and then when I moved to a different country I seemed to be about a billion years behind, so now I'm re-doing everything in college but I don't think it'll ever stick.
Me and my parents also moved to China. My mom and I didn’t know to much mandarin while my dad seemed like he knew every single word there was in the Chinese dictionary. I never got used to being there because when ever my dad is introducing me to someone like an old friend or something, he would always tell me to say something in Chinese. Then I would struggle and more than likely walk away. I didn’t get to see a real dragon or were attacked by one because this was when I was 7 and didn’t know they weren’t real. That kinda bummed me out but I enjoyed living in China for a while until we moved back to America. At least I got to see my aunt and cousins while I was their at least.

Wow. You lived in China too? My family moved to China for the exact same reason. Though, we lived in Nanjing instead of Shanghai. We stayed for three years (2006-2009), and I enjoyed it while it lasted. I met a lot of people from different countries, and we had friends who moved to Shanghai that we visited occasionally. It's crazy that we all live in a small world. My favorite part was my school's cafeteria. The staff would prepare curry for lunch sometimes, and I fell in love with it. I also learned Mandarin when I was there, but I had lost nearly all of it when my family moved back to Canada. I remember it was hard adjusting back to life in Canada, because my friends never had the same experiences I had. When I mentioned I loved peking duck, they gave me strange looks and I had to explain to them that it tasted like chicken, but had more grease to it.
Wow, I've found out a lot of people have had the same experiences. You were even there at the same time as me. (2006-2008)

This cool! I speak Cantonese but I wasn’t born in China, what’s even more strange is that I’m born in America but Cantonese was my first language!
My expectations were in their right place. Seeing how Your temporal home inn china was surrounded by barbwires and guards anf stuff, I was not shocked. But I feel sorry for the poor locals that have to withstand politics not too far from an orwellian nightmare.
I love Chinese culture, it was one of the highlights not just of my childhood, but my history lessons. Ancient China was so much fun to casually research, or just stumble upon anywhere. All the outfits, the spirituality, the time when the Great Wall was built to keep away intruders from the North. Oh my gosh, China was amazing back in those pre-modern ages.
I am sad to see what political corruption turned it into, tho who knows if China Uncensored is a legit source on that topic.
