Cid is born to be a MC, not a mob. 😂😂😂😂😂 Also, getting a harem is easy for him. Shadow Garden at his harem and I’m sure Delta would support him the most in creating a harem. 😂
If he really wants to be the seen as a background character, he should've find someone who has potential and turned that person into the MC. But that's just my opinion.
Yeah if he can turn Claire into a MC rather than a major character it'll be helpful, but I think he tried to do that with one of the princesses and it didn't completely worked out
25:57 I do not understand how and why someone so noble and with such high status would fall in love with someone so miserable as Mob Cid. Women are hypergamic, and does not like weak men. That being said, Rose should have been disgusted by Cid pledges for saving him.
There are exceptions to the rule. For example, statistically men like passive women, but there's also a lot of men that prefer active women while being active themselves, or to be passive, etc. Rose has a romantic soul, so she values more inner strength that just superficial power. Notice how she took an interest in him for the first time when he displayed his "resolve" despite being weak. Which to be fair is a trait most women would appreciate. Alexia has a very strong and complicated personality which wouldn't go well with anyone who would directly confront her. Sherry has no experience whatsoever with romance and doesn't seem to have any friends, so it's no surprise that a random dude showing "interest" in her would spark her curiosity. Beatrix doesn't have romantic feelings but she took an interest in him because she can sense his strength/potential. So probably point there, though her interest is more from a battle junkie POV rather than a woman seeking a stronger man. Claire is... complicated, but it's a mix of protective instincts and also sensing his true potential. The rest of the women already know about his strength so it doesn't count.
The reply above has answered already, but I wanna add something~ Basically this work/series has quite an amusing/interesting setting to it where magic very much divide the environment between the upper class aristocracy that has magic and the lower class commoners that barely has any/doesn't have at all. --------- 1. On the upper class with magic side, magic is such an absolute factor that women (who usually has equal or higher magic power than men) are typically in social positions higher than or equal to men, effectively a matriarchal society in caste, status, and capital. This was briefly glossed over when Cid was quickly saying how his sister is the natural heir to the Kagenou family when he first introduces the otherworld, but revisited in more depth when the seven shadows talked of the blood of heroes and the possessed being all female as magic (and with it the higher power dynamic in relationships) is more equivalent to females. From that, I think it may not be odd that upper class females in this world expect much more of themselves than any potential male partners and their social culture does not consider hypogamy unnatural, the opposite of hypergamy (think of it like how men in real world marrying women of lower social standing). --------- 2. On the other hand, for the commoners, the influence magic has on their lives is to the extent of how scientific technology is and a high divide in power balance against magic-using "dark knights" and other upper class folks. Which isn't much difference with real world enough that it has any significant impact socioculturally. Thereby having the usual patriarchal system and commoner females expecting hypergamy or otherwise. We can see this where the girls from a commoner background who likes Cid (Delta, Yukime, Marie, some other members of Shadow Garden, etc) are those aware of his "actual identity" as Shadow, a mysterious, almighty, all-knowing, all-powerful, absurdly resourceful, understanding entity... Yukime even mentions Shadow as a very rare and fine male. The only exception is Sherry who I'm not sure to classify as upper class or not... but she does see mob Cid as a reliable figure as a dark knight in willpower and solid physique coupled with her perception of him being a trustworthy and gentlemanly individual who gave her a thoughtful and helpful gift (chocolate) during times of need (the Sherry filter is really something lol). So with that, I am not sure to call it more closely linked to hypergamy or hypogamy... The above reply also mentioned how Sherry is just so innocent and doesn't know other men too. ------- Side note, I find it funny that Cid mentions how he's bored of high class beautiful girls due to growing up with Seven Shadows so much and would prefer a commoner "mob girl" for his mob persona. But said mob persona are the traits those girls avoid xD ! Edit: tried to make it not too wordy. It still looks a lot... sorry I write things lengthily. Appreciate suggestions for this lol.
Ahahahahaha, I completely forgot that there's Cid on my channel's profile picture. TH-cam's picture server is banned in Russia, so you need to turn on VPN to see pictures in community post or people's profile picture. I thought I have Ouro Kronii on my profile picture, but I changed it and completely forgot about this.
Cid's dedication to being a mob is amazing that it rizzes girls into liking him.
Cid should've spend more time reading romance genre, only then would he be able to avoid all the romance flags he's setting up right now.

The biggest struggle how to purposely be trash, without giving it away

25:30 Aaaaaaaaaaaa, I can't watch, I'm dying...
I feel bad for Rose, but I'm glad Cid didn't hurt her with words or actions.
