Suburban Station has really changed. I used it in the 70s for work and it was not a through station -- all the Penn Central trains terminated there. In the afternoon, the trains would be brought in prior to the rush hour and would sit and give off heat. Most of the cars were not air conditioned and the temperatures on track level in the Summer was murderous. It only got better when the train started moving towards 30th St Station and left the underground.
Very interesting!! I would’ve loved to see that!
👍Thumbs up as always! 😊🚂🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌⭐
BaltimoreAndOhioRR thanks so much!!
I've missed out on the older trains of my state but atleast I experienced the 2015 trains
Cool video!
Very good station to railfan at
Nice!!! Love the toasters
Amtrak Csx Marc Fan Fisherman ahh yes the great toaster, gotta love em
Nice!
13:30 the only railroad currently operating AEM-7’s
JoeyLovesTrains indeed
I'm curious to why PRR built the tracks on risers instead of directly on the ground. that's why the trains make that clunking noise. the AEM's don't have long now. SEPTA already has 4 ACS-64.
Kevin Howard yes that is a interesting point. I also forgot to put in my description that the main purpose of the trip was to see the aem-7s and if u check out my channel I did see the acs-64 in delivery
Kevin Howard I believe that it’s to prevent flooding
Is septa a subway?
Subway and regional rail
