hello that such a good video my question is what is called that machine that makes cut or thread
Really useful piece of equipment. Ten years ago I made a mini pulley puller to remove the eccentric weights on the vibration motors in cell phones. It basically allowed me to re-purpose them. Of course that was a lot lot simpler than this and a lot lot smaller. Never filmed it but I did put up a video of the finished item.
I love how 1/3rd of this video is just showing how extremely versatile this tool is!

You guys should build yourself a powder coat gun and oven. Your paint jobs will be much more reliable. Anyway, awesome builds.

Where I live. 34deg South. 150 deg east. Powder coating is rat shit!!!. Corrosion creeps underneath it and in 1-2 years it fails catastrophically, I get better results with quality undercoat and an oil based enamel top coat

This is an absolutely awesome project. As a guy who works on motorcycles, cars and industrial machinery I need this! I love the versatility of the machine! You could work a bit on speeds and feeds.... I find myself frequently questioning whether you are boring or threading due to the rough surface finish.
TheHarryroks I know right! Watching that lathe work is pure cringe. And they could stand to be a ton safer with the lathe.
I agree. Clearly a skilled craftsman but I was questioning why the surface finish of most cuts looked so bad.
