    Tip: use a drill bit to grind up the old flint residue. Just did this with mine

    I just got one but noticed there isn't a spring or screw, what should I do to replace those?

    My Regens came from the EBay seller with wool wadding is that usual?

    hi i have a question i have one also but mine has the name/marking regent on it is it the same mark/maker? or is it a fake ?

      There are often different names or variations stamped on what appears to be the same lighter. I collect Penguin Cygnus lighters but have three that are branded differently. Perhaps, they were manufactured for or licensed to the different branded company.
      Counterfeits are possible too but don't seem likely with a lighter that was so inexpensive in the first place.
      There are many old designs that have been revived recently by manufacturers in China and sell on Ebay as we speak. For instance they sell a lighter that looks a lot like a Thorens and brand it Torrance. I don't recall seeing any squeeze lighters like that though.✌️
