Thanks mate, sadly if true to form it’s going to be another four or five years before we see another irruption. Only a couple of sightings up in Scotland where they usually see loads.

Hello John! What a great video ! From the beginning to end, wonderful birds and crazy wind not to mention flooded road ! I really enjoyed the filming, all the explanations, and to see the places you went to! Thank you indeed! Those waxwings are stunning and very peculiar in their feeding habits I must say! What good shots you took! Thank you again ! I read on the BBC that the UK has had gales force wind and storm. Especially in Wales. I hope you didn’t have any problems at home with that storm. Thank you Patricia! Hope you’re well too. The last gales blew a gazebo behind the house into the bottom of the garden (I didn’t see the instructions to remove the cover in strong winds!) More gales expected today and we’re in London at the moment, just about to journey back; fingers crossed the Prince of Wales bridge is open! Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year! 🎉🥂🎉🍾🎉
A big thing in favour of the Baikal Teal being wild is that when it first appeared, another one was found in Yorkshire (I think) at virtually the same time.
