Hello sweet Diann, I liked your strawberry circle skirt. I never wear skirts even tho I have several. lol. Your crinkle fabric will be really cute in the Simplicity top pattern. I have that pattern. I need to take some time to sort and organize my patterns and sew up a few things for me but I need to crank out some P D A girl dresses as it’s time and a month will come and go and I want to sew them! I might find several patterns too I didn’t know I had. I’m sure I will!!! Speaking of cool weather,,, We had one am that it was 49 degrees! I’m in the camp your hubs is, get out the heated blanket or throw!! I use my heated throw a lot even in the summer! I’m still going to pt for my knee replacement, yes, it just won’t bend enough even tho I’m still hoping and trying. This leg was damaged over three yrs ago from a blood clot. Yes, my ankle remains swelled and esp if I’ve been on it much throughout the day. I wear support stockings every day, also even when we have really hot days. It’s frustrating but I’ll continue and hope it will get to a 100 degree bend. I’m close. 98 or so. The ortho dr wants it to be well over 100 degree bend. We’ll see.!!! lol. Love the idea of the pockets on the front/back of your capris. Nice idea of a knit waistband. I'm currently sewing up a jumpsuit in crinkle rayon. I always flat dry it and iron it before wearing it. DO NOT put in the dryer. You can iron it Diann. I love it because it has stretch! Congratulations on your collab with Katinka. I LOVE her. I did a collab with her last year. She is GREAT! I thought it was too cold, too soon, too, last week! And your strawberry skirt is too cute 🍓!!! I have the same fear of ruining fabric I really love - I think it's totally normal and something everyone worries about. I had a piece of crinkle rayon and made a scarf out of it - there is still enough left to sew a top but I wasn't sure for the same reason as you - what would happen when I pressed a seam? Would the fabric be flat around the seam allowance? I don't remember because it was a while ago but I think the scarf sewed up easily, so I guess something else like a top could be easy to make as well - good luck with it and looking forward to Tuesday's video😃!

All of the garments you make are very well made. You just need a little more confidence! If I could make a suggestion, try sizing down the top of your shirts to allow for small shoulders. I believe that would help fitting the neckline also. Remember, this is a suggestion not criticism because you're doing great and I love your channel. 😁
