Oh no. I love it too. I remember my parents going to the big meeting and the buses full of comrades going to meetings and these music blasting. Sad to say the PNP stalwarts have died in my area. This area that was developed by PNP. Now shittttt taking over. If anything go like what old time saying go. Carl Thompson turning over in him grave.
It is a classical song that will remain in our history books for ever. "My father born yah, my grandmother born yah, I and I born yah. My leader born yah. That's why I nah left yah. He gave I a message. To all those people, who nuh love progress".🎼🎶🎵💃🏿❤️💯

Thanks to every one who keeps my father Clancy Eccles alive by listening to his music. He Wrote and produce this one for Michael Manley and the 1976 election.
Yea, he help get the wrong message across to the uneducated , idots. Up to this day i meet them, can hardly read, cannot reason themselves out of a box, but everything that "¥₩=÷ is gospel true.
This song is from 1976 and a very fitting message today 2016 in my country Jamaica!!!!........Who are those people who do not love progress?? Jook dem wid achievements!!!
Degoeccles, my husband and I knew your father and wrote about him in our Reggae Quarterly magazine in 1985 or 86, and we sold a few records for him in Canada. Clancy was a giant of reggae and produced some of the most memorable (but unfortunately overlooked) music. Thank you for keeping his music alive by posting important songs like this one. (although my husband has a soft spot for Kingston Town)
I love it very much in the older days omg bad dance I was young but I go though the window with my orange flag I dance all night I like this part heavy heavy manners ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Was looking for this song for days now. It popped in my head and I did not know the title and then I started typing parts of the song and added PNP son in google and it brought it up. I used to listen to it over and over growing up as a child. Love the lyrics and the words. Thank God for the person who put these songs out in google and TH-cam keeping these memories alive.
