Thanks for the suggestion regarding doing a color test on a few locs before doing the full head. I will hit two years this summer and my color is out on the ends like yours, and the plan is to color it right around then. Like you, I'm concerned about damaging two years worth of patience and care just to lighten things up as color does dry my hair out even under the best circumstances 😎. I will take your suggestion. Thank you again.

Yes. It's the safest route. Thus far my colored locs are doing well. Hopefully they will pass the test because I love color!🤞🏾
