"Unique" doesn't begin to describe it - and in true DD form, it needs a proper name! Wonderful story, awesome efforts all around benefitting obviously good people. You're a good 'un, Fred. - Ed on the Ridge
I don't know why people don't like these. I think this Jeep looks great! And everything that y'all are doing is making it even better! Also, you gotta get one of those steps that mount with chains so it swings out of the way on the trail lol
Awesome to be part of this build, even when getting yelled at it was a good time with "Shop Teacher Fred" 😆 Hope to share the garage or the trail again with ya soon man! -Mike
Looks great. I really like hear the thinking process on seating the front clip up. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who picks my work apart as I do it.
...gotta say it looks like absolute shit....the hood sits just as high as the fender line...not a line matches n it should.....I'm just talking about the front clip fitment n I'm not tryn to shit on anyone...but that's garbage
Those 5" bumpers would be great air tanks if ur not running an on board compressor.....we did them in 3" for nerf bars \ running boards n they were great...🇺🇲❤️
What an epic build and a relief to see it start and run. I would suggest some kind of cage or mesh structure around the cowl to make it match the hood design-wise. Not sure if that part was mentioned.
I was always told that if the toe is set to a few degrees in, it will spread while in motion and be run at 0. Not sure who came up with the theory? When driven without a tie-rod, the tires usually turn out and when in reverse, the tire turn in?
Hey Fred, I think the grill and the way you cut the indicators off make it look like a hammerhead shark? I like it a lot better than the standard front end! Cool truck ❤
If cowl is same as Cj7 then wouldn't it have been EZ to use Cj7 aftermarket flat fenders and Cj grill ? Truck looks great, I'm thinking of doing a Cj10 myself and just spit balling.
I think your lovely assistant is doimg great 👏 👏 😂
It's a super cool build Fred. Leaving the rattly old japanese diesel 6 cylinder just completes the aussie ute theme you started with.
The truck turned out awesome
Congratulations and best wishes to Natalie and Tony!

Much better look with the gonzales turn signals. Looks proper now.
A water/dust sealed area under the teay between the frame would be a great place for softer gear clothes or tow ropes
Warn 8274 is the bomb, Fred!

Awesome ending to an awesome group and couple.

That thing is all kinds of cool.
Fred, do you have trouble going through all the footage and getting your video out. We saw this truck at Sema several weeks ago
A MEGA amount of work. But it turned out great!

I would build a set of rock sliders for it and some tool boxes underneath the bed in front of the tires to fill in some of the gap
yeah more “trail” upgrades are coming

You should paint the bumper pipe to look like Tylenol caplets with Tylenol stickers
Rad build
how does this go with a cars front wheel alinment ?

Absolutely love it!
Man that thing is awesome!
I laughed, I cried, it's better than a tug truck!
Call Jeep Fred still waiting to see the forecast cab jeep

Fred wd 40 instead of starting fluid much better for diesel starts
Im 27 min in and still hoping ur gonna move that nose down n hit the cowling line on the cab with the top of the fenders.....
32:17 Looks like a pig from Angry Birds. Fitting since folks have been putting angry birds grills on JKs.
Commenting for the algorithm
I hope the jeep guy shaved for the wedding pictures 😂
To much talk show more of what you do
