I think you can place a guy on that mortar and order him to fire at a location, while being near enemies, so that they dont despawn.
You can, I've done this a lot in the past it's just a bit of a faff to set up sometimes

Javelins have a specific distance before you can lock on to a target.
When u were shooting the javelin, you lock you would of needed to change to thermal sights, to Whot or Bhot, change to direct fire with F as it was a helicopter, and then hold tab to lock where you would get the locking sound.
I've never needed the javelin on thermals before to get a lock, just to change fire mode and then use the normal targeting key to lock. Neither of those buttons were working at the time, however.

Great video however i have a question? how do you have you ai commands in english? whenever i play on livonia its polish it might be bc im polish and it changes.
Is your default system language Polish? Try changing that to English and see if it works

Also, so far I've noticed that outright killing soldiers is far better in this version than in Ultimate.
You kill them while they're downed or surrender, it'll immediately skyrocket aggro levels to extreme.
Outright killing them (Mounted machine guns, auto cannons, auto grenade launchers), will pump up a level, one per every squad wipe (so like 8 or maybe less guys).
It gets harder to kick em up per level, but the easiest way to have them up your ass is defo killing while they're defenseless.
(Ultimate version)
I've noticed the same between this version and the original. Aggression only seems to be impacted by taking map markers and decays quickly over time. The only exception to this I've encountered is killing civs, which causes it to shoot up.

Does anyone know how to move all the loot from a supply box straight into the arsenal, it just says transfer vehicle cargo to ammo box and doesn't do anything to the supply box.
It does work that way. Move any vehicle out of the way, make sure the box you want to empty is the closest to the arsenal and then empty it as if it were a vehicle. That's what I've been doing so far, or you can garage the box and you get refunded the cost of buying it too.

how do you reload mortars in this game? I have CSW HE rounds in my inventory but there is no option. Ace only shows options to unload other rounds.
They'll automatically reload the same ammo type if there is any available, otherwise you need to load a different ammo type. If this doesn't happen, I would recommend you uninstall ACE as it makes these types of things obnoxious to play around.

You should be able to buy them from your garage right at the start of the game. If you're playing this version of the mission they're listed in the garage under the "statics" tab, and if you're playing an older version you just need to look for the button that says "Podnos".

I give you a little tip with the mortar/howitzer/SPAAG computers:
When the icon/button "FIRE" is RED, then the range, you want the Artillery grenades to land on, is not fully set and calibrated (i.e. the cannon has not reached the needed azimoth/angle to reach it's destination). Meaning the shells have a higher chance to miss their targets. This might end up kicking you in the butt if you want to storm a palce but must destroy a hard-to-kill foxhole/armored vehicle.
Wait until the button is WHITE than the range is calibrated and set and you only need to worry about steep inclines (where you set up your mortar, etc.) and the wind, which might bite in the a***e as it can push/divert the artillery grenades off-course.
I appreciate you're trying to help but this is exactly the kind of thing I'll never apply to the game. If I click fire it goes "boom", I need no further instruction.
@@JackArden worst case would be that you may hit an adjacent object right next to you because the cannon wasn't aimed up enough or the (or all) grenade(s) just lands short from target and you look... baffled into the enemies' guns.

you should start an antistasi the mod server with RHS i think it would be really fun
We've tried this sort of thing in the past but it just got ruined by a small group of players who tried to take over the server as their own personal playground. For example they tried to get people banned for not playing exactly the way this group wanted. Because of this we'd need to operate a whitelist and have moderation on the server and I simply don't have time for that.
