    Our family visited Mesa Verda 40 years ago when we could simply wonder about without formal tours and it was not crowded but the Rangers were equally fantastic. You captured the Spirit of a Holy Place.

    Thank you, Sara, for squeezing through those tight spaces. Now I don't have to do it. Love traveling with you two. x

    So awesome that you got to visit and experience Mesa Verde. You did a great job capturing much of the Ranger's presentation which we all found as fascinating as you. Quite a special place. When I visit places like this, I sit quietly alone and feel the presence of spirits long passed. If you're heading north up Hwy 550 (as suggested) 6 miles north of Silverton, turn left on Forest Road 585 and head back to Golden Horn Campground (free camping in a beautiful spot). Check out Day 39 in our Canada Bound playlist :-) Note: we were coming from the north :-)

      Yes, sitting quietly alone and closing the eyes...trying to imagine to be there when all those people were living and doing their routines right there! Unfortunately we are really late with the editing of the videos, so we have already passed the area.

      Grazie mille Libera! Ci impegnamo il più possibile ma abbiamo ancora molto da imparare e ci andrebbe un team di più persone per poter fare un video da vero documentario =D noi siamo solo in due e facciamo tutto noi. Dalla "A" alla "Z" 😅👍😉

    We to have been to Four Corners......a lot busier when we were there....we had a wait half hour to get our picture and all those stands were full of Native Americans selling jewelry and other stuff....Also meet our Son , his Family and several of his travel Families at Mesa Verde...they had all driven down from Denver to meet us to start our epic adventure last year...

    Isn't this amazing? I went here back in the 90's. No tours, you just went in yourselves. Climbed down a ladder from the top. Soo incredible. Glad you got to enjoy it. The tours made them better(?) The Indians used to grow gardens down below and go down ladders to get to them. For protection from their enemies, they just pulled the ladders up!

    • @leaw
      @leaw  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Bel, nowadays you cannot climb at your own anymore, you need to buy a tour and go with a guide if you want to climb down the ladder and see all that beauty!

      @@bevtrue6937 The park service says is to stop vandalism. You know how it is in the US, one person screws up and 99 others lose their liberties because of it...

    Such a beautiful video of a beautiful place. I was there a few years ago and didn't take the tour because my nephew didn't want to. Hopefully I can someday if these restrictions lift.

    Ciao ragazzi...come sempre complimenti per i vostri video e per il vosto viaggio on the road.
    Una sola domanda...ma perchè non inserite più i sottotitoli in italiano?

    • @leaw
      @leaw  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Ciao 👋🏻 grazie mille. Purtroppo per tradurre i video, inserire i testi e caricarli su TH-cam ci va una marea di tempo ma soprattutto molta connessione internet. Purtroppo essendo solo in due (Luca e Sara) e dovendo fare tutto noi, non riusciamo a farlo. Inoltre non abbiamo connessione sul pc, solo sul cellulare, quindi le poche volte che troviamo Wi-Fi carichiamo i video e cerchiamo di lavorare il più possibile per riuscire a trovare qualche sponsor per il progetto. Speriamo🏻 un giorno di poter crescere abbastanza da poter aver qualcuno che ci dia una mano anche con le traduzioni e sottotitoli.

    Its all partially closed now due to covid or fire danger which either is bs. When its slow they close it off so they dont need employees. I couldn't see them up close in order to lower payroll.
