I have a hard time leading my church with bethel music songs because they teach pretty blatant heresy. They preach it's always God's will to heal and do things such as grave soaking. Wade how do you go about using songs that could potentially connect you to a church that preaches such things.
Hey Joshua! That's a good and tough question. For me, it usually comes down to the song lyrics (or message). If something in the lyrics is incorrect then there is no way I would use it, but if it proclaims truth, I feel pretty comfortable. I've found that the church usually has no idea who wrote the songs anyway. But, you should also go with your gut through prayer and discernment. Blessings and peace, Wade
