BTS is not the sole reason for people learning the Korean language. There are many wonderful artists in many different groups in Korea that have worldwide appeal. I'll be honest - I'm tired of people acting like only one group matters and has impact. That simply is not so.

First time watching your reaction and I love your comments! Agust D's video/music, for me, reveals the complexity of intermixing tradition with modern. Old and new. I really love his fusion of traditional Korean culture (history, instruments, sounds, visuals, etc.) with modern beats, attitudes and thoughts. How it can be possible to fuse the differences together in such a unique and beautiful way. I think with the position he is currently in, after years of very hard work, he can now fully display his passion to his craft. He is so impressive to me. No holding back, no apologies .. just being honest with himself and calling things as he sees them. His complexity really shines through. I have much respect for him. Don't get me wrong .. Lol Jungkook was also supposed to be the guy holding up the Bang PD picture, but he didn’t have time. The Bang PD picture was actually kind of a joke they played on him in their reality show on VLive. Yoongi decided to use it. He’s also stated he was conflicted about using Traditional Korean sound on the mixtape because he’s done it in the past, but for this song specially, he knew he wanted to use it. The video is basically himself as a Tyrant/King, and his other street boy self. He’s shooting his rich self. A statement meaning he doesn’t want/need more than he already has. He made a bet with the butcher, which is why they share a brief look in the beginning. The butcher is the one who brings him to shoot his rich self. He also took sword fighting classes for the scene at the end. He tried using a real sword, but said it was too heavy so he switched it out for aluminum.
