I married a middle-aged woman (12 years younger than me) in Vietnam 3.5 years ago. I've never been happier. The younger women I met were amazing but they were at a different point in their lives than I was. My wife has adult children who are the same ages as my adult children and she is a successful entrepreneur with an established business . We were both in the same place in life looking form the same things and it's worked out fabulously well.
I 100% agree with you; older women get upset when you try to discipline their child/children for bad behavior.

I married a widowed Filipina with two sons. We married in 2010. Likely one of the best decisions I have ever made. Now at age 70 and her at age 59 &1/2, the boys became computer gurus and have good jobs and nice families. Life is great. The best retirement I can imagine is having a younger wife who likes to work overtime. I am never out of coffee money!

I have heard many times over my life, I'm 64, about single moms with teenage kids desperately needing their next husband to pay bills, but not letting the new husband apply any structure or discipline to the teenagers..... men figure out pretty quick that they are there as wallets....

Absolutely! Been there. Done that. Never again! I’m the widowed dad now with one age 11. It’s a bit hypocritical, but I have no problem discipline mine. Dating here in the states is exhausting and a quality woman that knows how treat a man is scarce. They’re all extremely materialistic and focused on what they can get out of you, with no sense of giving anything back. Just sex IS NOT ENOUGH.

The thing men forget is woman are woman doesn't matter where they're from. Then when you add in a younger woman that's another issue of stages of life. The best woman is always going to be a traditional woman not the modern mindset. Woman with kids they will always come first. Don't forget the Grandiose personality! Could be a narcissist? Traditional woman are rare these days. Even in foreign countries.
The statistics are clear that a father figure (authority) gives children a multitude of advantages. Being married to a woman who won't allow you to provide a father's guidance is a recipe for disaster. Glad you saw that, and hope that others understand the same.

i spent a lot of time visiting northern mexico, but never for a relationship. my previous wife was born/raised in mexico.. but we met in the usa.
Some older Filipinas are master of playing games and love to entertain themselves on dating sights. Caught mine doing that.
In Philippines if the older woman has a job she hasn’t got much time for you unfortunately that’s the way things are there not much days off only holidays if they are lucky
Never dated an older Filipina but in my 20's for two years I dated one who came to America with her mother, for the first year and a half it was great, this was back in the late 80's mind you but towards the end she exhibited all the bad traits we are warmed about super possessive and jealous for no reason and even started to lie about inconsequential things just to avert any type of confrontation. Ultimately she did what she was accusing me of, I got a call from a friend telling me you have to get here right now bro and there she was instead of being at the movies with her sister she was hanging off some dude on the dance floor. That was it for me, I just walked out. Funny thing 20 years later she was working for the state of California and somehow found my phone number and email address and attempted to rekindle things. I told her I was married so no chance. She said why worry, it wont last marriages never do. I just laughed and hung up the phone. But one thing she was right about it took 20 years but my marriage didn't last. LOL BTW Her middle aged mom was Gorgeous, I mean they looked like sisters.

In your first scenario, isn't it more about whether the woman has young children or not, regardless of her own age. I do not know much about the Philippines, but it seems that many women in their twenties and early thirties are single mothers with young children, whereas those in their late forties often have grown-up kids.
yes, younger or older... as young as 19 so many filipinas have a baby already. (married or not)
this is why it took me 7 years to find my wife. i absolutely knew i did not want to be raising any kids. first i had to filter out women who already had kids... and then filter out those who wanted kids in the future (which is most).
good news is that in the last 5 years, more and more filipinas are seeing the advantages to their lifestyle by either not having kids, or waiting until they finish college, or start a business first.

The 16 year old son of my thai wife came living with me in Europe after his father passed away in Thailand...and he tried to be the boss in my own house from the first month of being here ! His mother - my wife - is a little bit manipulated by him and she does not dare say "no" to him. Every year I had a few very loud arguments with this son and luckily most of the time he stays upstairs in his room... From the start it was absolutely impossible to have a normal honest conversation with him : he only wants to use me, only wants my money, does not have the slightest interest in building a lasting kind of friendship...such a shame !
16 is young to lose a dad. He likely has some issues to work through, and at that age he doesn't want another dad. That really has to be a difficult situation for everyone.

using real women means getting model releases for each. not cost effective to be paying models for photo shots.

When I get there my sweet spot for dating will hopefully be early to mid 30s or at least late 20s ( I know you can't control that to a point) but that is what I'm hoping to deal with. yes, myself.. gio, paul, vern, jason and several others, we keep in contact through the week. but they all know i don't want to make my hospital or personal life a part of my channel any more. i did the video about hospital costs and that was plenty.
so they don't bring it up because they know i don't want to make it a focus. plenty of other things to talk about. :)

I got fed up with the attitude of American women and looked outside the country. Colombia in this case. I could have looked for someone 20-30 years younger than me, but I looked for someone close to my own age. Life experiences come with time, and I wanted someone who has learned with time. I met a woman 17 years ago and after a few years married her. She is wonderful, the best thing to ever happen to me. Maturity over youth every time.
The older women are set in their ways most of the time. You were better off dating younger.

Yes I was married to an American woman what's a 28 year old son that lived at home that did nothing at all we paid for everything I wasn't allowed to say anything at all to him did everything he could direct the marriage in it finally worked
Yes, raising children is more of an art form than anything else. Thing is is that children will be exposed to many things that will shape them not just their parents. The mass media with music and movies leading the way, What parents say or do at home is a fairly small part of what goes into a child’s upbringing. Kids will likely turn out to be who they really are and parents can only do so much. If we try to teach them the difference between good and bad and right and wrong then we’ve done our part.
honestly, i feel for the current generation of young kids. this world is being thrown at them through the smartphone way before they are equipped to handle it. war footage, porn, dark humor, cynicism.. that is a horrible mental diet for an impressionable child.
i agree with your assessment. parents gotta work overtime to instill character early. not a list of do's and don'ts.. but an actual value system so they are equipped to handle real-life.
I hear you! Yet we know the world has always been like this. If not smart phones then it’d be something else. Even spouses disagree on child rearing. It’s a huge struggle for many families. I try to model the behavior I would like my kids to adopt. But in all fairness they are only 50% mine. So they’re not necessarily going to feel comfortable following in my footsteps. Their genetic makeup is very different than mine. You used the word instill. In my experience that doesn’t work. They are gonna grow up as they see fit. If I’ve modeled my values as a parent then the rest it up to them. To me they aren’t a blank canvas. They come preloaded with a certain disposition toward life. I just have tried to provide some guardrails for them-such as getting a good education including college.

She would tell her boyfriend/husband that she’s spending the weekend with her daughter, and he’d be none the wiser. And of course, her daughter would cover for her mother, 😉😎👍🏼.
as with dating any woman... until there is proof, it's just a suspicion. this woman was already visiting her daughter every weekend long before i met her. in fact, we met on the bus.

Status is more important in Asia than in Europe or USA...a divorced or older asian lady in general does not want other people to see she has a relationship with a foreigner unless he would be obviously very wealthy. If she wants another man of her own country this man's status will or should exceed her own status in society...

From Thailand's point of view. There is a certain age range that is good.
Too young, very attractive, very friendly but really they are only interested in your money.
Women in my own age group (50) are now thinking about their own parents and need your money for health care. These women are with you because they really need money for their own parents and everything in a relationship is for the benefit of the parents, you and your wishes are not important.
The ideal woman for a 50-year-old is a 30+ year old who had her children as a teenager. Unfortunately, she will be burdened by her own aging parents as well as an aging husband.
Stepparent wanting to disciplining another's child is a huge red flag. I agree with her in principle.
Education for life is important so they can relate better with other people.

The weekend sex friend was not just about sex.
When did this demotion occur and why at that time? This is not just about sex. This was about control. She wanted those weekends. I wonder what would have happened if YOU decided that on some weekends, you were not available for providing the weekend accommodations.
This was either a planned fade away move or just her way of wanting power and control.
If it was just about wanting sex, then that didn't necessarily have to happen on her terms alone. She wanted you to be her sex buddy but if you wanted her to be your sex buddy, that paradigm shift would have told you more, if you even cared to know anyway. Yes we can be sex friends, but the form of how that was going to happen was really the meat of what it was about and who she was.
This is not properly characterized as having no expectations. She did indeed have expectations albeit not traditional.

I came, I saw .I was destroyed by an older woman who turned out to be a gold digger. They hide it so well until you marry. At 60 it will take me 150 years to save up to where I was when single and the money all went in 4 years. I am saving a bit to go to Cambodia or Philippines for 4 weeks just to see people who are poorer than me so as to get some self esteem back. By the way the highest death rate of expats in Cambodia is caused by suicide; I wonder why.

Are we being 100% honest and practical here? There is a million percent difference between a race horse and a plow horse. If you're an older man - it may have been decades since you were with a 20 something that hasn't had a child yet. You know what I'm saying - the difference is miles wide - or narrower - depending on perspective.
of course there is a difference between younger and older women. if they were the same, there'd be no need to distinguish between the two as options.
some men want a younger woman, for a variety of reasons.. while other men want an older woman. there is no 1 answer for all men to follow.

'young', 'old'.. it is all subjective. a man 22 is 'old' to a 9 year old boy. a man 55 is 'young' to an 85 year old.
You never discipline a child that is not yours, it wont work out well. Just be a good role model so they will respect you. Let the mother discipline the child.
and when the mother never disciplines her kid, instead gives the kid ice-cream if they will "behave for 10 minutes"... that produces a disaster as well.

Kids, especially boys, must know their place. If they don’t, they will try to control everything. And they already have the Mom twisted around their finger, so it’s up to you, as the man now in the family to set them straight. My brother did it and it worked out. But as for me, I’ve dealt with teens for over 40 years as a teacher and have seen the results of a teen controlled home.

I loved your video I saw today because I have had similar experiences in Thailand! Not going into that right now another time.
I have a older Filipino lady in my life now and we now have a house just outside of Lipa, she's a little different, no children never been married and no actual experience of having a relationship! Until she met me , she had to work hard all her life as her parents died when she was around 15 years old and has worked as a housekeeper and nanny ever since! Our thing that makes us good together is if there's a problem we resolve it together! To be honest she didn't know what to do in bed had to teach her everything but she was very enthusiastic and learns very quickly! She comes across as very genuine and very honest and I have met her siblings too who all work, so I'm happy as she always looks after me when outside as she knows I have not been to the Philippines before meeting her.
But not exactly a newbie to Asia, I'm 67 she knows I have experience in life , she is 50 now with very little experience of relationships .
But no big deal as we talk about stuff always.

I was married in Germany to a woman who had 3 kids from her 1st marriage. It worked 9 years fine. The last 3 years was me trying just to hang in there. Lesson learned. Moved to Canada for a work opportunity after my divorce to start from zero. Again. Asian woman this time with one 9 year old boy. Holy cow! Some days I had to go between her and the son. But well. One thing had both women in common. I’m sure other women do this also. The women draw a circle around them and their kids. You aren’t getting in that circle! Lesson learned. I’m 60 now. Living in Panama and one thing for sure. I don’t touch women with kids! Don’t get me wrong. My girlfriend what is the same age as me has a son. Living in a different country. He is an adult. Not my problem to deal with him - yet.
