I really like the idea of a bunch of unruly and bored trickster spirits that at first seem like they're just causing her trouble, but when you look at the story more closely you can see that they're trying to distract her or save her from shitty situations in her life. And eventually, once she doesn't need their support anymore, she gets to see the trickster posse move on to protect her grandchild, making sure that her own pain won't be inherited. There's a lot of dark imagery in this mv and I get why it makes some uncomfortable, but I think the storyline is quite well thought through.

Storytime: When I first got into NCT I didn't get the whole "one million units one hundred memebers in multiple units" thing. So I'd seen Dream's song first before this, and then I decided to get into them and learn their names. So I watched Dream's song with the names of the members and was like "Oh cool, Mark and Haechan and the others!" and then I watched this one with the names and was like "Mark and Haechan? Why have they got the same names?" I didnt really recognise them by their faces so I thought they were different people with the same names and I got really confused by them. Then I figured out they were the same people, but I thought dream was made up of kids and 127 of adults, so I got even more confused and somehow in my brain I thought that they'd filmed Chewing gum years and years ago and filmed Firetruck after they'd gotten older and just released them in the same year. As you can see I'm really smart. But now I know that they're just both teenagers in both Dream and 127 and I'm not a complete idiot. The end.
