I asked HR for re-fitment but HR replied saying the re-fitment cycle has been closed and he'll let me know once opens. Is it true that there is certain time for processing re-fitment? If not how can I tackle this problem as I there's no proper information given about re-fitment process in HR policy.
Hi, During my time back in 2021 there was no cycle for refitment. As soon as you joined HR provides you with the refitment form and the refitment process gets initiated. Hi, Firtly they will tell you that you are not eligible for LWP as you have not completed 2 years of service in tca. Hi Manish, I took the Sabattical Leave (for MBA in HR from a Tier 3 College) and joined the organization back. However, the role which was given to me was the previous one pre-sabbatical( Development Role). Now, the manager of that project when asked about the Refitment is saying as " we were not aware of the Refitment Process while you are joining the project. Moreover you have just joined the engagement and therefore at this moment we cannot share the business benefit as we didn't get any business benefit yet." Does this mean will the manager give the approval for Refitment Process? Or Do we have anyother approach to deal with this ? If approved, what is the Refitment % I can expect ?
Hi, Your manager is acting way too smart. Manager just have to provide a simple email known as business justification. Simply few sentences that your newly acquired educational qualification will benefit project. Firstly it's really sad that you have to join the same project and similar type of work. Try to find the lwp policy document from myHR section of ultimatix, it will accelerate your case. For tier 3 you can get 40-50% hike. Hope it helps. It was not discussed with us when you joined the project. We will review it after a quarter." When asked to give the mail confirmation, he isn't providing it and moreover he isn't lifting the call. Hi, 1- yes you can do intership from other companies. 2- No, once you resign from tcs you can't join it again irrespective of the country. 3- you can try for internship opportunities in TCS by mailing HR. Or you can join TCS back and ask HR to provide you some more time to complete your backlogs. I attended the TCS interview on June 2nd, 2023, my status showing evaluation in progress from June 9th onwards and my documents has been verified on June 12th and I got call from HR on July 7th for designation discussion (I said ok with HR and I sent acknowledgement mail as well to the HR) after that I didn't get call from HR for salary discussion, HR not responding my calls and mails, can I except call from HR salary discussion?
Hi Pavan, I will suggest you to wait. The HR will themselves reach out to you. It's very likely that they won't respond and reply to your calls and emails. If it is going to take more, then you might have to inform your HR regarding the same.
Because if you do not join within the LWP time frame then company might terminate you or take some legal action.

Unfortunately you cannot take LWP for preparation of any competitive examination. This reason won't be accepted.
You can take LWP for health reason, personal family issues, child care and education.
For tier 1 it is 10-11 lpa.
For tier 2 8-8.5 lpa

1- yes you can do intership from other companies.
2- No, once you resign from tcs you can't join it again irrespective of the country.
3- you can try for internship opportunities in TCS by mailing HR. I did the same, but they told me LWP candidates are not eligible for internship.

1- As per my knowledge you have to join TCS back at your bade location and since you have a work permit then you can request RMG to find a onsite project for you
2- come to India, find an onsite project and fly to US.

Unfortunately HR won't tell you your expected CTC as there is a proper Refitment process which is followed.
It takes around 2.5 - 3.5 months after your joining to get new CTC amount.

If you are having 2 years of exp. Your current salary would be in the range of 3.8-4.2 lpa.
So after completing your education from tier 3 clg you can expect salary of 6.2 lpa.

Or you can join TCS back and ask HR to provide you some more time to complete your backlogs.
Maybe you can give your backlogs while working in your current package i.e. 4.5 lpa and once you clear backlogs you can apply for refitment.
Better to take idea from HR also.

Unfortunately, the chances of changing the base location before joining is next to impossible.
You have to join the base location, and from there you can provide the RMG with the relevant reason for seeking transfer, or you can swap your location with other trainee.

I attended the TCS interview on June 2nd, 2023, my status showing evaluation in progress from June 9th onwards and my documents has been verified on June 12th and I got call from HR on July 7th for designation discussion (I said ok with HR and I sent acknowledgement mail as well to the HR) after that I didn't get call from HR for salary discussion, HR not responding my calls and mails, can I except call from HR salary discussion?

I will suggest you to wait. The HR will themselves reach out to you.
It's very likely that they won't respond and reply to your calls and emails.
Don't over call or spam them as it can annoy them.
Just wait for the correct time, they will connect with you.
