Enjoyed your hike…..brought back memories of our hike there July 23, 2011 with our son and daughter-in-law. I remember it was a strenuous hike for sure. Some fella short cutted the trail and we saw him tumbling down towards the top of the falls…..lucky for him, he was able to somehow stop the fall before reaching the falls……..saw he had caught up to some friends on the way down and we mentioned we had watched his fall……his friends did not see it or know about it….he really got a ribbing from them!
Yikes! Yeah, I always see people doing incredibly dangerous things around cliffs and waterfalls in Yosemite. Hence, me automatically thinking the people further down were scrambling and not using a trail. I should apologize to those people. 😉

I did that hike twice back in my boy scouts days...wooped my ass, lol
