yup. that's what it is. it's about human life's absurd comedic situations. and it can keep on running till Larry is alive, or if he is to be replaced, someone like him, to pass on the torch, to continue.
It's not like The Leftovers, or Breaking Bad, GoT, where they have a particular story. It's similar to Family guy or Simpsons.
That's the beauty. Larry will never run out of material as long as he's alive lol
the actors are very old. I think the only thing stopping the show is their health.

err cause cellphones are new? It was just a plot device.
I'm impressed the writers could were able to keep things "modern" by shifting from land lines to cell phones. I hope they can move from Oldsmobile to Tesla references next.

Vince Vaughan is an extremely great additive to the show. He's a natural in anything he does. And he's not only excellent in comedy he's dynamite im drama and suspense such as his role in psycho.

Larry has met some crazy people in this shows history, but someone not letting him charge his phone when he's at 2% and they're at +20% is probably the most unbelievable thing that I've seen from the show.
Bush league move by Jeff. 25% is perfect amount until they’re done eating and he can plug it in his car when he leaves.
2% means your phone has like 30 seconds left and then it's over.
Listen if someone ask me if they can use my charger when I'm at 23% I'd tell them to go suck a sock. 23% is like the battery barrely recovered. At 40% fine, but not 23%. Some phone batteries are so old that 23% is more like 5%. 23% no way!
The Larry David/Vince Vaughn back-and-forth at the (no longer) parking spot is such a George and Jerry conversation.

The Curbiest Curb of all time. Every LD quirk, anxiety, fear and prejudice is exploited to the max. I watched with a roomful of people of disparate tastes. All were laughing, some to the point of tears.

The funny thing is that Larry likes anchovies, in another episode he stated how he likes Lox on Bagels and herring as well yet earlier in the show he had such a problem with having a celebrity named sandwich of with his name on it with whitefish and sable and he had such an issue with it. Def an interesting dude, thats why you always gotta love Larry.
I love anchovies and I'm really disappointed in Larry's reversal on this.
A must in my caesar salad at home AND once in a while... I eat them right out of the tin!

One of many things I've learned from "Curb": Fancy restaurants have beautiful hostesses.
When Larry raises his voice and starts yelling, I believe the patrons in very close proximity should react by at least looking at them and displaying a expression or 2. It seems in so many scenes, especially restaurants, patrons nearby are oblivious to the loud voices or yelling which I suppose makes filming the scenes a bit easier.
I kinda assume they are extras and told not to react at all. I agree that it makes scenes like these a bit unnatural.
I was out for dinner yesterday and a male Karen made a huge scene, he was screaming like a maniac and really upset the poor waiter, my husband and I didn't look at them, we just listened. No one in the other tables was looking either. So it's not that unrealistic that the extras don't look at Larry
