Extreme Skiing Championship Crested Butte Colorado | 1998 with Fails

The US Extreme Ski Championships are held annually in Crested Butte, Colorado. John Sandy Productions produced the TV show for 17 seasons. This was the even from 1998, hosted by Saab. This event was actually founded by John "Sandy" Santucci, Owner and operations manager of JSP Broadcast, Inc.

It's the gear. Today's skis/boots/bindings are MUCH easier to rip on. Put today's skiers on those longer, skinnier skis and they wouldn't look any better.

@@wasatch0 To an extent maybe, but all sports progress. Big mountain skiers of today are better than the generation who came before them and they were better than the generation before them, etc.
