Rishikesh Karnprayag रेल परियोजना । चीन की गर्दन तक पहुंचेगा भारत, 2024-25 तक हो जाएगा तैयार

The project of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line is very important for Uttarakhand. This rail project will change the nature of Badri-Kedarnath Yatra. Due to this, the pilgrims coming to Kedarnath, Badrinath will not only save time, but the expenses will also be less. The project is targeted to be completed by December 2025.
This project will make it easier for pilgrims to reach Kedarnath, Badrinath. This rail line will prove to be an important link connecting five districts of Uttarakhand i.e. Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Rudraprayag and Chamoli. After the completion of this rail project, Karnprayag will be able to reach Rishikesh in just two hours.
The journey from Karnprayag to Badrinath Dham is about four and a half hours. This will also come down to two hours. After which Badrinath can be reached from Rishikesh in just four hours. At present, the journey from Rishikesh to Badrinath takes about 11 hours.
The eyes of the entire state are on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project being prepared in Uttarakhand at a cost of Rs 16216 crore. With the completion of this project, development is expected to flow in the hill districts. In this 125 km long rail project, 105 km of rail line will pass through 17 tunnels.
Rail Vikas Nigam has divided the work into nine packages and 54 phases for the construction of this project. The works of Rail Tunnel, Edit Tunnel, Rail Bridge and Road Bridge are being executed in all these packages. In these nine packages, work is being done in 80 phases.
The longest (14.08 km) rail tunnel in the country is also under construction on this project. This rail tunnel from Devprayag (Saur) to Janasu will be a double tube tunnel.
Tunneling work on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project being built in Uttarakhand is now going on at a faster pace. These days, a one kilometer tunnel under this project is being completed within five days. In all the 9 packages of this project, construction work is going on in 81 phases. So far, a total of 67 km of tunnel has been constructed on this. These projects are included in PM Modi's dream project.
