Great PICO pubmed tutorial. However, I'm confused on why you used "all field" to add each concept instead of using "MeSH" terms, at the final search. I've tried searching pubmed using both "all field" and "MeSH" terms on the given concepts. I had found 60+ articles and 20+ articles for "all field" and "MeSH" terms, respectively. I wonder which one is the correct method. Thank you.
Searching All Fields will often retrieve more articles that use your search terms because there is a delay before indexing and MeSH terms are applied in Medline. Ideally, with MeSH, you will get the most relevant articles, but you will not necessarily get those that were most recently published. :)
Best way explained.if my proffesor would have taken her time to explain this in such way we all would have passed this subject!
