l am from Ethiopia. And as far as l see many experts in google You are the best lecturer,so continue by this. But if you can, please send the full problem's question because it is important to us as we known how the question is prepared about this problems and to understand the questions simply.
Hi. We do most of our filming during the weekend, as we work our normal jobs during the week, and then the videos need to be edited and produced and the thumb nails need to be developed (all done by my wife). We try to keep enough going so we can publish 3 per day, but we are thinking about slowing down to 2 per day.
The problem does not consider the wall thickness ...shouldn't that be considered in solving for actual Ladder length?Your videos are fantastic...so thorough ....so EASY to follow ... and LEARN from !Fred CT
Hi l am from Ethiopia, l am your regular follower and l want to tank you because all videos you make are very mandatory and useful. But today in this lesson l have question if is possible that is when you do derivatives, you did only derivative of denominator with out including nanometers,in short you didn't follow the rule of derivatives,so this is my question as it is the rule to do this type of question or what?any ways tanks more for your lectures keep it up!
Glad you find our videos helpful and to have you as one of our followers. When you solve a "MAX/MIN" problem and you take the derivatve, you don't need to worry about the denominator, since we are going to set the derivative equal to zero, to find the maximum or minimum. And when the numerator is zero the whole fraction is zero no matter what the denominator is equal to. (It saves a little bit of time).
@@MichelvanBiezen Tanks my best!!! l understand as it is unnecessary to give emphasis for denominator. But my question is not answered to me because l said that when you do this problem you equalized zero with derivatives of denominator but not with nenomnatur how is it possible?
@@MichelvanBiezen It was very frustrating and to be completely honest I don’t think I have the mental capacity to figure something like this out on my own.
When I was a student, I felt the same way. There are many problems I wasn't able to figure out on my own and then concluded that I wasn't very smart. Now I realize that it is just a matter of experience, and practice and spending enough time to absorb the material. Don't give up. Keep at it.
@@MichelvanBiezen Hye michel while I have you here, I have my Calc 1 Finals coming up soon and honestly Im doubting myself pretty heavily. I mostly struggle with knowing what to do. once I figure that out the math is fine but I can never really grasp when i should use certain formulas etc. Do you have any tips for me or any resources potentially?
Man you make it seem so easy and effortless... This problem took me over an hour to do, even with your help :(
Good grief! This man makes hard work look so easy.

Thank you. That is good advise. We'll pay more attention to that.
Interesting problems as usual. All of the problems in my textbooks are so bland, but yours are very interesting. Thanks again Michel
How many videos do you record on a day?
Greetings from a math tutor form Germany!

Nice videos. Can you guys pls make a playlist and organize it from 1 to the nth example? So that it will be easy for the viewers

No, it doesn't matter. All that matters is where the edge is that will be in contact with the ladder.

Love you man
Thank you. Glad you found our videos. 🙂
Yes! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you!
Welcome!
"thanks to a great input from my wife" , (6.30) You mean the wife is the genus behind the man?
She is indeed smarter than I am. (But not smart enough to have said "NO" to me when I asked her to marry me.)
@@MichelvanBiezenthis comment made my day😂❤
THANK U
You're welcome!
Thank you professor and you have a very nice bowtie professor van Biezen!
Thanks! 😃
thanks, got my question right big dog
what a stupid question tho, anyways, jojo kimyou na bouken eyes of heaven!
Why do you think it was a stupid question?

It's a little annoying that you block what you're writing as you're speaking. It makes it hard to follow.
