- The Winnipeg Jets have chosen Scott Arniel as the fourth head coach in 2.0 franchise history. We will break down what we hear at the press conference. Arniel is also scheduled to join us around 3:10 pm CT.

Really glad to see Arnie get the job! He will do fine. His 2 years of OJT with Bones will pay off. I am interested to hear some Jets player reactions. Go Jets Go!
This is about Arnie, guys. As a player, he was the hard-working, defensively-sound, forechecking forward the Jets badly needed. He can teach those shut-down skills to the current Jets, who need to become WAY tougher to play against, like Arnie was as a player.
One thing I noticed the last couple of years is that any team with good speed gives the Jets trouble !
I think the Jets could have great success if they do exactly what they did last year -just faster. Avs seemed to be able to turn up the speed in the play-offs and the Jets were kinda stuck at their regular season pace.
1st you need players with speed! Monahan toffoli demelo etc are not exactly what you call burners
I’m not sure anyone advertised them as burners
I responded to the comment that the jets needed to play with more pace and speed. Which they aren’t capable of with slow of foot players as mentioned
