    Just picked up one of these for 10$!! Complete and the rust isn’t lookin too bad. So excited to get it back in service. First plane I’ve ever owned.

      Plane Collector will do! Just got started on it tonight. Just realized that there is a chunk missing out of the mouth. Looks like someone hit a nail ughhh :(

    In your opinion, what’s the best way to prepare for repainting if you do not have a sand blaster?

    Looking for measurements. I found a 62 at an estate sale. Missing was the front knob, threaded rod, and the two round parts for throat adjustment. I would like to fabricate replacement parts and put it in service. Any chance I can convince you to provide close up photos and measurements of my missing parts?
